4. Setup and Installation

Installation of this mini-split system requires specialized tools and knowledge. It is highly recommended to arrange installation by a certified HVAC professional after receiving all parts.

4.1 Site Selection

  • Indoor Units: Choose a location on a wall that can support the unit's weight and allows for proper air circulation. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
  • Outdoor Unit: Select a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and areas with excessive dust or debris. Ensure adequate clearance for airflow around the unit.

4.2 Installation Steps (Professional Installation Recommended)

  1. Mount the indoor unit(s) securely on the wall using the provided mounting plate.
  2. Drill a hole through the wall for the refrigerant lines, drain hose, and electrical wiring.
  3. Connect the refrigerant lines, drain hose, and electrical wiring between the indoor and outdoor units. Ensure all connections are tight and leak-free.
  4. Evacuate the refrigerant lines using a vacuum pump to remove air and moisture.
  5. Release the refrigerant from the outdoor unit into the system.
  6. Connect the power supply to the outdoor unit.
  7. Test the system for proper operation in all modes.
