4. Setup Guide
4.1 SIM Card Installation
The GF08 GPS Tracker requires a SIM card for network communication. A SIM card is NOT included in the package.
- SIM Card Requirements: Ensure your chosen SIM card supports a 2G network (GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 MHz). The device is not compatible with 3G, 4G, or 5G networks for data transmission.
- Insert SIM Card: Locate the SIM card slot on the device. Carefully insert the SIM card into the slot in the correct orientation.
- Power On Confirmation: After inserting the SIM card, the red LED indicator should blink twice, indicating successful SIM card detection and network registration.
Note: The device number for login is the barcode on the side of the machine. The default password is 123456.
4.2 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the device.
- Connect the provided power cord to the charging port on the GF08 tracker.
- Connect the other end of the power cord to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
- The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.

Once the device is powered on and connected to the network, you can view its real-time location.
- Open the tracking application or access the web platform.
- The current location of your GF08 tracker will be displayed on the map.
- The system uses both LBS (Location Based Service) and GPS for more accurate and precise real-time location tracking.

5.2 Geo-fencing (Electronic Fencing System)
Set up virtual boundaries to receive alerts when the tracker enters or exits a specific area.
- Navigate to the Geo-fence or Electronic Fence section within the APP/Web platform.
- Draw a virtual fence on the map around the desired area.
- Configure alert settings (e.g., notification type, entry/exit alerts).
- Your mobile phone will receive reminders when the tracker moves in or out of the set range.
5.3 Historical Path Tracking
Review the past movements of your tracker.
- Access the "History" function in the APP/Web platform.
- Select a date and time range to view the tracking device's historical path.
- The platform will display the time, speed, and track of the device during the selected period.
5.4 Multi-device Management
For users managing multiple trackers (e.g., fleet management), a group account can be created.

- Once set up, you can view all registered vehicles/trackers simultaneously on a single APP/Web interface.

5.5 Alarm Functions
