3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the device. The built-in 3.7V 850mAh Li-ion battery takes approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge and provides about 5 hours of continuous runtime.
- Locate the Type-C charging port on the side of the device.
- Connect the provided Type-C charging cord to the device.
- Plug the other end of the charging cord into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
- The battery indicator on the LCD screen will show charging status. It will indicate full charge when complete.

3.2 Initial Power On
To power on the device, press the Power-on Button (usually marked with a power symbol or 'MEAS'). The LCD screen will illuminate.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Measurement (Single Distance)
- Ensure the device is powered on.
- Point the laser beam at the target surface.
- Press the MEAS button once to activate the laser.
- Press the MEAS button again to take the measurement. The distance will be displayed on the main screen.

- Pythagorean Modes (1-4): Used for indirect measurements based on the Pythagorean theorem (e.g., measuring height or distance when direct measurement is obstructed). Follow the on-screen prompts for each step of the measurement.
4.3 Switching Measurement Units
The device supports multiple units: Meters (M), Inches (In), Feet (Ft), and Feet+Inches (Ft+In).
- To switch units, press and hold the Unit/Measuring Reference Button (often indicated by a unit symbol like 'M/In/Ft') for approximately 2 seconds.
- The unit will change with each long press. Release the button when your desired unit is displayed.

4.4 Data Storage and Retrieval
The device can store up to 100 groups of measurement data.
- After a measurement is taken, it is automatically saved.
- To access stored data, press the Data Record Button (often indicated by a memory icon).

4.5 Electronic Angle Sensor

- The angle is displayed on the top left of the LCD screen.
