1. Introduction

5. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your RSHTECH USB Hub:

  1. Connect the Power Adapter: Plug the included 12V/5A DC power adapter into the "DC 12V" port on the back of the USB hub. Then, plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The hub requires external power for stable operation, especially when connecting multiple devices or power-hungry peripherals.

  2. Connect to Host Device: Use the provided USB-C to USB-C data cable to connect the "HOST" port on the USB hub to an available USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4 port on your computer or laptop.

  3. Driver Installation: The RSHTECH USB Hub is plug-and-play and typically does not require any additional driver installation for most operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Android). Your system should automatically recognize the hub.

6. Operating Instructions

Once the hub is set up, you can begin connecting your USB devices.

  1. Connecting USB Devices: Plug your USB devices (e.g., flash drives, external hard drives, keyboards, mice, cameras, printers) into the available USB 3.2 (USB-A or USB-C) or USB 3.0 ports on the hub.

  2. Using Individual Touch Switches: Each USB port has an independent touch switch.
    • To activate a port: Lightly touch the switch button next to the desired port. The blue LED indicator for that port will illuminate.
    • To deactivate a port: Press and hold the switch button for approximately two seconds. The blue LED indicator will turn off.

    This feature allows you to manage power to individual devices, conserving energy and preventing interference when a device is not in active use.

  3. Data Transfer Speeds:
    • USB 3.2 ports (1 USB-A, 2 USB-C) offer data transfer speeds up to 10Gbps.
    • USB 3.0 ports offer data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps.

    Actual speeds may vary depending on the connected device, cable quality, and host system capabilities.

  4. Charging Devices: The powered hub can charge compatible devices connected to its ports. The 60W power supply ensures sufficient power delivery.

If you encounter issues with your RSHTECH USB Hub, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
