1. Important Safety Information

• Age Recommendation: This product is recommended for users aged 14 and above. Adult supervision is advised for younger users.

  • Use only the provided 3S 11.1V 1350mAh 30C Smart LIPO battery and balance charger.
  • Do not overcharge or over-discharge the battery. The smart battery features low-power indication.
  • Never leave charging batteries unattended.
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • If the battery becomes swollen, punctured, or damaged, discontinue use immediately and dispose of it properly.
• Rotor Blades: The rotor blades spin at high speeds. Keep hands, face, and loose clothing away from the rotating blades.
• Interference: Avoid operating near other radio-controlled devices or strong electromagnetic sources to prevent signal interference.
• Maintenance: Regularly inspect the helicopter for any damage or loose parts before each flight.

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Helicopter Battery

1. Connect the balance charger to a power outlet.
2. Connect the 3S 11.1V 1350mAh Smart LIPO battery to the balance charger. Ensure correct polarity.
3. The charger's indicator light will show the charging status. Charging typically takes about 75 minutes.
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charger.

Note: Always supervise the battery during charging. Do not charge damaged or swollen batteries.

4.2 Installing Remote Control Batteries

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Insert the required batteries (not included, typically AA or AAA) according to the polarity markings.
3. Close the battery compartment securely.

4.3 Initial Binding Procedure

Before your first flight, you need to bind the helicopter to the remote control:

1. Ensure both the helicopter battery and remote control batteries are fully charged.
2. Place the helicopter on a flat, stable surface.
3. Turn on the remote control. The LED screen will illuminate.
4. Connect the helicopter battery to the helicopter's power port. The helicopter's lights will flash.
5. Wait for a few seconds. The helicopter's lights will become solid, indicating a successful binding.
6. If binding fails, turn off both devices and repeat the steps.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Pre-Flight Checklist

• Ensure batteries are fully charged (helicopter and remote).
• Check all rotor blades for damage and ensure they are securely attached.
• Verify the flight environment is clear and safe.
• Confirm successful binding between helicopter and remote control.

5.2 Basic Flight Controls (Mode 2 - Default)

Familiarize yourself with the remote control sticks and buttons:

• Left Stick (Throttle/Yaw):
  • Up/Down: Controls throttle (ascend/descend).
  • Left/Right: Controls yaw (rotates the helicopter left/right on its vertical axis).
• Right Stick (Pitch/Roll):
  • Up/Down: Controls pitch (moves helicopter forward/backward).
  • Left/Right: Controls roll (moves helicopter left/right sideways).
• One-Key Take-off/Landing Button: Initiates automatic take-off or landing.
• GPS Function: The helicopter is equipped with GPS for stable flight and intelligent features. Refer to the remote control's LED screen for GPS signal status.

5.3 Take-off and Flight

1. Place the helicopter on a flat, open surface.
2. Press the One-Key Take-off button. The helicopter will automatically ascend to a stable hovering height.
3. Alternatively, slowly push the left stick (throttle) upwards to manually take off.
4. Use the right stick to control forward/backward and left/right movement.
5. Use the left stick to adjust altitude and rotate the helicopter.

5.4 Landing

1. To land automatically, press the One-Key Landing button. The helicopter will slowly descend and land.
2. To land manually, slowly pull the left stick (throttle) downwards until the helicopter gently touches down.
3. Once landed, disconnect the helicopter battery to power off the helicopter. Then, turn off the remote control.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your NULA F09-S RC Helicopter.

• Cleaning: After each flight, gently wipe down the helicopter with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners.
