Press the MODE button (blue button) to cycle through the available measurement units: pounds (lb), kilograms (kg), and pounds:ounces (lb:oz). Select the unit appropriate for your needs.
3. HOLD Function
The HOLD function allows you to lock the weight reading on the display even after removing the item from the scale. This is useful for weighing large or awkward items that might obstruct the display.
- Place the item on the scale platform.
- Once the weight stabilizes, press the HOLD button (blue button).
- The weight reading will be locked on the display, indicated by a 'HOLD' icon.

4. TARE Function
The TARE function allows you to zero out the weight of a container or packaging, so you can accurately weigh only the contents. This is particularly useful for weighing items in boxes or bowls.
- Place the empty container (e.g., box, bowl) on the scale platform.
- Wait for the weight reading to stabilize.
- Press the TARE button (blue button). The display will reset to zero.
- Now, place the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show only the net weight of the items.
- To clear the tare and return to normal weighing mode, remove all items from the scale and press the TARE button again.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
The stainless steel platform is designed for easy cleaning. Wipe the scale surface with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, a mild detergent can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they may damage the finish or internal components.
2. Storage
When not in use, store the scale in a dry, stable environment. The compact design allows for easy storage under a desk or on a shelf. Ensure the control panel cable is not kinked or stressed during storage.
