1. Introduction
The VEVOR Precision Miter Gauge is an essential accessory for table saws, designed to provide accurate and repeatable angle cuts for various woodworking projects. Constructed from durable aluminum alloy, this miter gauge features a robust design with 15 positive angle stops, ensuring precision and efficiency. Its compatibility with standard 3/4'' x 3/8'' T-shaped and U-shaped table saw slots makes it a versatile tool for most woodworking setups.
2. Important Safety Information
Always prioritize safety when operating power tools and accessories. Read and understand all instructions before use. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in serious injury or damage to the product.
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves.
- Ensure your table saw is unplugged before installing, adjusting, or performing maintenance on the miter gauge.
- Keep hands and fingers clear of the saw blade at all times.
- Ensure the miter gauge is securely seated in the table saw slot before making any cuts.
- Do not force the miter gauge or workpiece through the saw. Apply steady, even pressure.
- Keep your work area clean and well-lit.
3. Product Overview and Components
The VEVOR Precision Miter Gauge consists of several key components designed for precise angle adjustments and stable operation.

Key components include:
- Miter Head: The main body with the angle scale and locking mechanism.
- Steel Miter Bar: Slides into the table saw's miter slot.
- Adjustable Bead Spring Plunger: Located on the side of the miter bar for adjusting fit within the slot.
- Removable Disc: Allows compatibility with both T-shaped and U-shaped slots.
- Textured Non-slip Handle: Provides a secure grip for operation.
- Dual-Scaled Angle Plate: Features imperial and metric laser-marked scales for precise angle settings.

4. Setup and Installation
The VEVOR Precision Miter Gauge is shipped partially assembled to simplify the setup process. Follow these steps to prepare your miter gauge for use with your table saw.
4.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts listed in the package content (refer to Section 7: Specifications) are present and undamaged. The main miter gauge unit (metal adjustment plate & sliding bar) comes pre-assembled.

4.2 Slot Compatibility and Adjustment
The miter gauge is designed to fit standard table saw slots measuring 3/4'' x 3/8'' (19 x 9.5 mm). It is compatible with both T-shaped and U-shaped slots. Before use, measure your table saw's miter slots to ensure compatibility.

If your table saw has a U-shaped slot, ensure the removable disc at the end of the steel miter bar is removed. For T-shaped slots, the disc should remain attached.
4.3 Adjusting for a Snug Fit
The steel miter bar features an adjustable bead spring plunger on its side. If you notice any looseness or gaps when placing the miter gauge in your table saw slot, use the included hex wrench to adjust the plunger. Turn the hex screw clockwise to extend the plunger, creating a snug fit within the slot. This adjustment improves wear resistance and ensures accurate cuts.

5. Operating Instructions
The VEVOR Precision Miter Gauge allows for quick and accurate angle adjustments for various woodworking tasks.
5.1 Setting Angles
The miter gauge features 15 positive stop holes for common woodworking angles. These include a 90-degree stop, and seven additional stops on each side at 15°, 22.5°, 30°, 35°, 45°, 60°, and 67.5°. To set an angle:
- Loosen the locking knob on the miter head.
- Rotate the miter head to align the indicator with the desired angle on the dual-scaled angle plate. The positive stops will help you quickly locate common angles.
- For angles not covered by the positive stops, align the indicator precisely with the desired degree mark.
- Tighten the locking knob securely to fix the angle.

5.2 Making Cuts
Once the desired angle is set and locked, place your workpiece firmly against the miter gauge fence. Ensure the workpiece is stable and does not shift during the cut. Slowly and steadily push the miter gauge and workpiece through the saw blade to make the cut. Always maintain control and follow your table saw's safety guidelines.
5.3 Applications
This precision miter gauge is suitable for a wide range of applications, including:
- Wood Connection (e.g., joinery, frames)
- Woodworking DIY projects
- Garden Maintenance (e.g., fence repairs)
- Mechanical Assembly requiring precise angle cuts

6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life and ensure the accuracy of your VEVOR Precision Miter Gauge.
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the miter gauge with a clean, dry cloth to remove sawdust and debris. For stubborn residue, use a mild cleaner and dry thoroughly.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a thin coat of dry lubricant or wax to the steel miter bar to ensure smooth sliding in the table saw slot. Avoid excessive lubrication that could attract dust.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the miter gauge for any signs of wear, damage, or loose components. Ensure all screws and knobs are tight.
- Storage: Store the miter gauge in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Protect it from impacts that could affect its precision.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your miter gauge, refer to the following common problems and their solutions:
- Problem: Miter gauge feels loose or wobbly in the table saw slot.
Solution: Use the included hex wrench to adjust the bead spring plunger on the side of the steel miter bar. Turn the screw clockwise to extend the plunger until a snug fit is achieved. - Problem: Cuts are not accurate or square.
Solution: Ensure the miter gauge is properly seated and the bead spring plunger is adjusted for a snug fit. Verify that the angle locking knob is fully tightened. Check your table saw's fence and blade for squareness. - Problem: Miter bar is difficult to slide.
Solution: Clean the miter bar and the table saw slot thoroughly. Apply a thin coat of dry lubricant or wax to the miter bar. Ensure the bead spring plunger is not overtightened. - Problem: Angle markings are difficult to read.
Solution: Clean the angle plate with a soft cloth. The laser-etched markings are designed for durability, but accumulated dust can obscure them.
