  1. Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective films.
  3. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.

4.2 Placement

Proper placement is crucial for optimal performance:

  • Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface that can support its weight.
  • Ensure there is at least 12 inches (30 cm) of space around the air inlet and outlet for proper air circulation.
  • Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  • For best results, operate the dehumidifier in an enclosed area. Close all doors and windows to the space.

4.3 Drain Hose Connection (Continuous Drainage)

This dehumidifier is designed for continuous drainage via the included drain hose. It does not have an internal water tank.

  1. Locate the drain port on the unit.
  2. Connect one end of the provided 3.3 ft drain hose securely to the drain port.
  3. Route the other end of the hose to a suitable drain location, ensuring a continuous downward slope for gravity drainage. Examples include a floor drain, large sink, or outside.
  4. Ensure the hose is not kinked or blocked, as this will prevent proper drainage.
