3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Power Supply
The CARPURIDE C92 is powered via a 5V 2.5A Type-C connector. Connect the provided car charger to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket and then to the Type-C port on the device. Ensure the current is at least 5V 2.5A or 5V 3A to prevent power interruptions.

3.2 Mounting Options
The device comes with two primary mounting options: a suction cup bracket and a self-adhesive bracket. Both allow for 360-degree angle adjustment to ensure optimal viewing.
- Suction Cup Bracket: Ideal for windshields or smooth dashboard surfaces. Provides a strong, reusable adhesion.
- Self-adhesive Bracket: Suitable for dashboards with textured surfaces. Offers a secure, permanent attachment.

3.3 Rear Camera Installation (Optional)
The CARPURIDE C92 supports a rearview camera via a 2.5mm jack. The included 6-meter cable allows for flexible routing to the rear of your vehicle. The display automatically switches to the camera feed when reversing.
To install the rear camera:
- Connect the 2.5mm jack of the camera cable to the 'CAM IN' port on the CARPURIDE unit.
- Route the 6-meter video cable to the rear of your vehicle.
- Connect the red wire from the camera power cable to your car's reverse light positive electrode (DC 12V).
- Connect the black wire from the camera power cable to a suitable ground point.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Smartphone Connectivity
The CARPURIDE C92 supports wireless and wired connections for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Mirror Link.
4.1.1 Apple CarPlay
For wireless or wired connectivity with iPhone 6 and above.
- Open CarPlay on the device.
- Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your iPhone.
- Find 'Carpuride-xxxx' in your iPhone's Bluetooth settings and connect.
- Confirm the connection on your iPhone.

4.1.2 Android Auto
For wireless or wired connectivity with Android 11 and above.
- Open Android Auto on the device.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your Android device.
- Find 'Carpuride-xxxx' in your Android's Bluetooth settings and pair.
- Confirm the connection on your Android device.

4.1.3 Mirror Link (Airplay/Autolink)
Mirror Link allows real-time synchronization of your smartphone's screen onto the CARPURIDE display.
Wireless iOS Mirror Link (Airplay)
- Open Airplay on the device.
- Turn on Wi-Fi on your iPhone and connect to the device's Wi-Fi network (name and password displayed on screen).
- From your iPhone's Control Center, select 'Screen Mirroring' and choose the CARPURIDE device.

Wireless Android Mirror Link (Autolink)
- Open Autolink on the device.
- Scan the QR code displayed on the CARPURIDE screen to download the mirroring application.
- Turn on hotspot on your phone and turn off Wi-Fi. Set the hotspot name to 'Carpuride' and password to '12345678'.
- The connection should be successful.

Wired Mirror Link
Use a high-quality USB data cable to connect your smartphone to the USB port of the CARPURIDE unit. Follow any on-screen prompts for authorization.

4.2 Audio Output Modes
The CARPURIDE C92 offers multiple ways to output audio to your car's speakers or its built-in speaker.
- Bluetooth Audio: Connect your smartphone to the CARPURIDE's Bluetooth. When in CarPlay/Android Auto mode, users can connect their smartphones to the car's Bluetooth, enabling them to enjoy music and make phone calls through the car speakers.
- AUX Cable: Connect the provided AUX cable from the CARPURIDE unit to your car's AUX input for direct audio playback and calls.
- FM Transmission: Transmit audio wirelessly to your car's FM radio by setting both the CARPURIDE and your car radio to the same FM frequency.
- Built-in Speaker: The unit features an 8Ω2W built-in speaker and microphone for direct audio output and hands-free calls.
- TF Card/USB: Play music and videos directly from a TF card or USB drive inserted into the respective ports.
