1. Introduction

The Voice Caddie Laser FIT is a compact and lightweight golf laser rangefinder designed to provide accurate distance measurements on the golf course. 2. Setup

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Upon opening the package, ensure all included components are present:

  • Laser FIT Rangefinder
  • Pouch
  • User Manual (this document)
  • Microfiber Lens Cleaner
  • USB Cable

2.2 Charging the Device

The Laser FIT is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, offering approximately 8 hours of continuous use or up to 20,000 shots on a full charge. To charge:

  1. Connect the provided USB cable to the charging port on the device.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator will illuminate. Once fully charged, the indicator will change or turn off.

2.3 Powering On/Off

To power on the device, press and hold the power button located on the top. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Distance Measurement

The Laser FIT provides rapid and accurate distance readings in approximately 0.1 seconds.

  1. Look through the eyepiece.
  2. Aim the crosshairs at your target.
  3. Press the measurement button once to get an instant distance reading.

3.2 Slope Integration and Tournament Mode

The device features a slope adjustment function that calculates the adjusted distance based on elevation changes. This is crucial for accurate club selection on uphill or downhill shots.

  • To activate/deactivate slope mode, use the dedicated slope switch on the side of the device.
  • When slope mode is off, the device is legal for tournament play.

3.3 Ball to Pin Mode

This innovative mode allows you to measure the distance from your ball's position to the pin, even if you are not standing at your ball. This is particularly useful on "cart path only" days.

  1. From your current location (e.g., golf cart), aim at your ball and press the measurement button. The device will display the distance to the ball (Ball icon will flash).
  2. Next, aim at the pin and press the measurement button again. The device will calculate and display the distance from your ball to the pin.

3.4 Pin Tracer Technology

When scanning, the Pin Tracer feature automatically detects and locks onto the pin when the measure button is held down for 3 seconds, providing precise readings unaffected by hand or pin movement.

3.5 Display and Magnification

The Laser FIT features a high clarity lens with 6X optical magnification, ensuring a clear view of your target. The dual display is optimized for both strong and low light conditions, providing easy readability.

3.6 Unit Selection (Yards/Meters)

The device supports measurement in both yards and meters. Refer to the user interface or specific button functions to switch between these units as preferred.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Lenses

To maintain optimal clarity and performance, regularly clean the lenses using the provided microfiber lens cleaner. Gently wipe the lens surfaces to remove dust, dirt, or smudges. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.

4.2 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Charge the battery regularly, even if the device is not in constant use. Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.
