Setup and First Use

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residue.
  3. Placement: Place the power base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Fill the Kettle: Press the lid release button to open the lid. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of water. Do not fill below the MIN mark (0.5L) or above the MAX mark (1.7L). Overfilling may cause boiling water to spill out.
  2. Close the Lid: Ensure the lid is securely closed before placing the kettle on the power base.
  3. Place on Base: Position the kettle onto the power base. The kettle can be placed in any direction due to the 360° swivel base.
  4. Start Boiling: Flip the power switch to the "ON" position. The LED indicator light will illuminate blue, indicating that the kettle is heating.
  5. Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically shut off once the water reaches a rolling boil, and the LED indicator light will turn off.
  6. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from the power base by the cool-touch handle and pour the hot water.
  7. Re-boiling: If the kettle has just boiled, allow a few moments for the internal thermostat to reset before attempting to re-boil.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and longevity of your kettle.

  • Before Cleaning: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • Interior Cleaning (Descaling): Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Descale regularly to ensure optimal performance.

Descaling Procedure:

  1. Fill the kettle with 1 cup of white vinegar and 2 cups of water. Alternatively, use a solution of baking soda and water (1 tablespoon baking soda per 2 cups of water).
  2. Boil the mixture.
  3. Allow the solution to stand in the kettle for approximately 2 hours.
  4. Pour out the solution and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
  5. For stubborn deposits, repeat the process or use a specialized kettle descaler according to its instructions.
