4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Power Connection

This clock is designed to be plug-in operated and requires continuous power. It is not battery-operated for primary function. Connect the provided USB power cable to the clock's concealed power jack and then to the USB power adapter. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

4.2 Memory Battery Installation (Optional)

To enable the memory function and preserve time settings during power interruptions, install one CR2032 button cell battery (not included) into the battery compartment located on the back of the clock. Ensure correct polarity (+/-) when inserting the battery.

4.3 Mounting

The clock can be mounted on a wall using the integrated hanging hole. Use the provided adhesive hook or plastic anchors and screws for secure installation. The 10ft USB cable allows for flexible placement.

5. Operating Instructions

The control buttons are located on the back of the clock.

• Setting Time and Date: Press the '12/24 Hr Time-Set' button to enter time setting mode. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the hour, minute, month, date, and day. Press '12/24 Hr Time-Set' again to confirm each setting and move to the next.
• Switching Time Format: Press the '12/24 Hr Time-Set' button briefly outside of setting mode to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
• Switching Temperature Unit: Press the '°C/°F' button briefly to switch the temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• Auto-Brightness: The clock's brightness adjusts automatically based on ambient light conditions. There is no manual override for brightness settings.

• Clock not turning on: Ensure the USB power cable is securely connected to both the clock and the power adapter, and that the adapter is plugged into a functional electrical outlet. This clock requires continuous power and is not battery-operated for its main function.
• Time not saved after power outage: Check if a CR2032 memory battery is installed in the battery compartment. If installed, ensure it is inserted with correct polarity and is not depleted. Replace the battery if necessary.
• Temperature reading inaccurate: The built-in sensor provides indoor temperature with an accuracy of ±2°F and updates every 15 seconds. Ensure the clock is not placed near heat sources, air conditioning vents, or in direct sunlight, which can affect local temperature readings.
• Display too bright or too dim: The clock features a 3-level auto-brightness function that adjusts based on ambient light. There is no option for manual brightness adjustment. Ensure the ambient light sensor (small dot below the time display) is not obstructed.
