1. Introduction

4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Placement: Place the composter on a stable, flat surface in a well-ventilated area.
- Install Filters: Open the filter compartments (typically located on the lid or side) and insert the activated carbon filters. Ensure they are securely in place.
- Insert Inner Bucket: Place the empty stainless steel inner bucket into the main unit.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The LED display should illuminate.
5. Operating Modes
The Fylecen Electric Composter offers three distinct operating modes:
- Auto Mode: This intelligent mode automatically adjusts the processing time (up to 6 hours) based on the weight and type of food waste, ensuring optimal results.
- Manual Mode: Allows users to manually select a processing time of 1, 2, or 3 hours for smaller loads or specific needs.
- Clean Mode: An automatic high-temperature cleaning cycle. Simply add water to the inner bucket and select this mode for self-cleaning.

6. Operation
- Add Food Waste: Open the composter lid and add food scraps to the inner bucket. The 4L capacity is sufficient for daily household waste. Suitable items include:
- Fruit and vegetable peels
- Coffee grounds and tea bags
- Small pieces of meat and fish bones
- Eggshells
- Bread and grains
- Leaves and small plant matter
It is recommended to break down larger items into smaller pieces (e.g., 1-2 inch pieces) for optimal processing.

- Close Lid: Securely close the composter lid.
- Select Mode: Press the ON/OFF button to power on the unit. Select your desired mode (Auto, Manual) using the touch panel.
- Start Cycle: The composter will automatically begin the grinding, dehydrating, and cooling process. The remaining time will be displayed on the LED screen.
- Finished Cycle: Once the cycle is complete, the unit will signal. The processed food waste will be reduced to a dry, soil-like material ready for use as fertilizer.
7. Maintenance
- Auto-Cleaning: For routine cleaning of the inner bucket and blades, add water to the bucket and select the 'Clean' mode. The unit will heat and spin the water to clean itself.
- Filter Replacement: The intelligent system will remind you when to replace the activated carbon filters. Filter lifespan can vary based on usage, typically lasting 4-6 months. Replace filters as indicated to maintain optimal odor reduction.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the composter with a damp cloth as needed. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
