Setup Guide

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.

  2. Assemble the Feeder: Attach the food bowl to the main unit. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
  3. Add Dry Food: Open the top lid and pour dry pet food into the transparent storage tank. The 3L capacity can hold enough food for several days.

  4. Connect Power: Plug the 5V DC adapter into the feeder and a wall outlet. For power outage protection, insert 3 alkaline D-cell batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom.

Operating Instructions

Programming Timed Feeding:

The IMIPAW Automatic Cat Feeder allows you to set up to 6 meals per day with customizable portion sizes (1 serving is 7-9 grams).

  1. Unlock Control Panel: Press and hold the "Lock" button for 3 seconds to unlock the screen. The control buttons and screen automatically lock after 30 seconds of standby.
  2. Set Current Time: Press and hold the "SET" button for 3 seconds to set the current time of the device. Use the Up/Down arrows to adjust hours and minutes. Press "SET" to confirm and move to the next step.
  3. Set Meal Schedule:
    • Press "SET" to enter meal setting mode (M1, M2, etc.).
    • Use Up/Down arrows to select the meal number (up to 6).
    • Press "SET" to set the feeding time for the selected meal.
    • Press "SET" again to set the portion size (1-20 servings).
    • Repeat for all desired meals.

  4. Save Settings: After setting all meals, press and hold "SET" to save and exit programming mode.

Manual Feeding:

To manually dispense one portion of food, press both the "Up" and "Down" arrow buttons simultaneously.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Food Bowl: The stainless steel food bowl is removable for easy cleaning. Hand wash only.
  • Cleaning the Food Tank: The food storage tank can be detached from the base for thorough cleaning. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching and refilling with food.

  • Lid Security: The secure lid lock design prevents pets from accessing food outside of scheduled times. Ensure the lid is properly locked after refilling.

Troubleshooting

  • Food Not Dispensing:
    • Check if the food tank is empty.
    • Ensure the feeder is properly powered (AC adapter or fresh D-cell batteries).
    • Verify that the feeding schedule is correctly programmed and unlocked.
    • Check for clogs in the dispensing mechanism. The clog-free design and proper angle minimize accumulation, but large kibble sizes (over 10mm) may cause issues.
  • Power Interruption: The dual power supply system (AC adapter + D-cell batteries) ensures continuous operation even during power outages. If the feeder stops working, check both power sources.
  • Incorrect Time/Schedule: Re-enter programming mode by pressing and holding the "Lock" button, then "SET", and adjust the time and meal settings as needed.
