5. Setup and Installation

Installation Steps:
- Prepare for Installation: Turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse box. Ensure the power is completely disconnected before touching any wires.
- Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the junction box in your ceiling using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Adjust Cable Length: Loosen the screw on the ceiling canopy to adjust the length of the hanging cable to your desired height. Once adjusted, tighten the screw to secure the cable.
- Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding house wires using the wire nuts. Connect the black wire (live) to the black wire, the white wire (neutral) to the white wire, and the ground wire to the ground wire. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Attach Ceiling Canopy: Carefully push the ceiling canopy up to the ceiling, aligning the holes with the mounting bracket screws. Secure the canopy in place.
- Install Bulb: Screw an E26/E27 base 60W max bulb into the fixture's socket.
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete, turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
