6. Operating Instructions
- Once all connections are made and devices are powered on, the Yinker HDMI Splitter will automatically duplicate the video and audio signal from your source device to both connected displays.
- The splitter operates in a duplicate/mirror mode only. This means both output displays will show identical content to the input source.
- Resolution Handling: If your two output displays have different maximum resolutions, the splitter will automatically output at the lowest common resolution supported by both displays to ensure compatibility. For example, if one monitor is 4K and the other is 1080P, the output resolution will be 1080P.
- Daisy Chain Functionality: For sharing content with more than two monitors, multiple Yinker HDMI Splitters can be connected in a daisy chain configuration. Connect the output of one splitter to the input of another.

7. Troubleshooting
- No Signal on Displays:
- Ensure the USB-C power cable is securely connected to the splitter and a working 5V 1A power source. Check if the "Power" LED is illuminated.
- Verify that all HDMI cables are securely connected to the input and output ports.
- Test with different HDMI cables, as faulty cables can cause signal loss.
- Confirm that your source device is outputting an HDMI signal and your displays are set to the correct HDMI input.
- Try connecting the source directly to one display to confirm the source and display are working independently.
- Distorted or Flickering Image:
- Check the quality of your HDMI cables. High-quality HDMI 1.4 or newer cables are recommended, especially for 4K resolutions and longer distances.
- Ensure the resolution and refresh rate settings on your source device are compatible with both displays and the splitter (max 4K@30Hz).
- Reduce the resolution of the source device to see if the issue persists.
- Ensure the splitter is receiving adequate power.
- Only One Display Working:
- Check the HDMI cable connection for the non-working display.
- Swap the HDMI cables between the output ports to determine if the issue is with the cable or the port.
- Ensure both displays are powered on and functioning correctly.
- Not Extending Display (ABC Mode):
- This device is designed for duplication/mirroring only. It does not support extending your desktop across multiple unique displays.
