1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Ledagic 20FT 180Leds Music Sync Color Changing LED Strip Lights. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper functionality and safety.

3. Safety Information

  • Ensure the power adapter voltage matches your local power supply.
  • Do not cut the LED strip unless indicated by designated cut marks. Cutting elsewhere may damage the strip.
  • Avoid bending the LED strip at sharp angles to prevent damage to the circuit.
  • This product is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose to water or high humidity.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Unplug the power adapter before cleaning or performing any maintenance.

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your LED strip lights:

  1. Prepare the Surface: Clean the desired installation surface thoroughly. Ensure it is dry, smooth, and free of dust or oil. This is crucial for the adhesive to bond effectively.
  2. Connect Components: Connect the LED strip to the controller, and then connect the controller to the power adapter. Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Test Lights: Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet to test if the lights function correctly before permanent installation.
  4. Apply the Strip: Carefully peel off the protective backing from the adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip. Press the strip firmly onto the prepared surface, working in sections to avoid bubbles.
  5. Secure Controller: Position the controller in a location where its infrared receiver (for remote control) is not obstructed.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Remote Control Operation

The included 60-key remote control allows for comprehensive management of your LED strip lights:

  • Power On/Off: Use the dedicated power button.
  • Color Selection: Choose from primary Red, Green, Blue (RGB), White, and 16 multicolored options.
  • Brightness Adjustment: Increase or decrease light intensity.
  • Mode Selection: Cycle through 8 pre-programmed lighting modes.
  • DIY Colors: Create and save up to 6 custom colors.

5.2. App Control Operation

For advanced control, download the recommended app (refer to the QR code on the controller or packaging for download instructions). The app provides additional features:

  • All remote control functions (brightness, color changes).
  • Setting schedules for automatic power on/off.
  • Advanced timer settings.
  • Access to 16 million color options.

5.3. Music Sync Feature

The built-in high-sensitivity music sensor allows the LED strip to react to sound. Select a music mode via the remote or app to synchronize the lights with your audio environment. There are 4 music modes available.

5.4. Timer Setting

Utilize the timer function to schedule when the lights turn on or off. This can be set via the remote control or the mobile application.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Ensure the lights are unplugged. Gently wipe the LED strip with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Storage: If storing the lights for an extended period, coil them loosely and keep them in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
  • Adhesive: The adhesive is strong, but avoid repeatedly removing and re-applying the strip as this can reduce its effectiveness.

7. Troubleshooting
