Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
  2. Placement: Place the coffee maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from water sources and heat.
  3. Clean Components: Wash the water tank, portafilter, and filters with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.
  4. Fill Water Tank: Fill the removable water tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level indicator. Ensure the tank is properly seated.
  5. First Use Cycle: Before making coffee, perform a priming cycle.
    • Plug in the appliance.
    • Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
    • Press the "Espresso" button to run water through the system without coffee. Repeat this process 2-3 times to clean the internal components.

Operating Instructions

Making Espresso (Ground Coffee)

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled.
  2. Select the appropriate filter (single or double shot) and place it into the portafilter.
  3. Add ground coffee to the filter. For a single shot, use one scoop (approx. 7g); for a double shot, use two scoops (approx. 14g). Tamp the coffee evenly.
  4. Attach the portafilter to the brewing head by aligning it and twisting firmly to the right.
  5. Place your cup(s) on the drip tray under the portafilter.
  6. Press the "1 Cup" or "2 Cup" button on the digital control panel. The machine will pre-heat and then dispense espresso.
  7. Once brewing is complete, remove the portafilter and discard the used coffee grounds.

Making Espresso (Coffee Pods/Capsules)

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled.
  2. Insert the capsule filter into the portafilter.
  3. Place a compatible coffee capsule (e.g., Nespresso Original) into the capsule filter.
  4. Attach the portafilter to the brewing head.
  5. Place your cup(s) on the drip tray.
  6. Press the "1 Cup" or "2 Cup" button. The machine will brew the espresso.
  7. Remove the portafilter and discard the used capsule.

Milk Frothing

  1. Fill a frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) to just below the spout.
  2. Press the "Steam" button on the control panel. Wait for the indicator light to show the machine is ready for steaming.
  3. Position the frothing wand just below the surface of the milk.
  4. Turn the steam control knob to release steam. Move the pitcher up and down to create foam.
  5. Once desired foam is achieved, turn off the steam control knob and press the "Steam" button again to stop.
  6. Wipe the frothing wand immediately after use with a damp cloth.

Cold Brew (Espresso Cool Mode)

  1. Prepare your ground coffee or capsule in the portafilter as you would for hot espresso.
  2. Ensure the water tank is filled with cold water.
  3. Attach the portafilter to the brewing head.
  4. Place a glass with ice under the portafilter.
  5. Activate the "Espresso Cool Mode" (refer to your machine's specific button or sequence for this function, typically indicated by a snowflake icon or similar).
  6. The machine will dispense a cold espresso shot, suitable for iced coffee beverages.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your coffee maker.

Daily Cleaning

  • Drip Tray: Empty and clean the detachable drip tray after each use. Wash with warm soapy water and rinse.
  • Portafilter and Filters: Remove and clean the portafilter and filters after each use. Rinse under running water to remove all coffee residue.
  • Frothing Wand: Immediately after frothing milk, wipe the frothing wand with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying. Run a short burst of steam to clear any internal blockages.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling

Depending on water hardness, descaling should be performed every 2-3 months. Refer to the full manual for detailed descaling instructions using a suitable descaling solution.

Note: The appliance is not dishwasher safe.

Troubleshooting
