Setup

Before first use, the device requires battery installation.

1. Install Batteries: Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device. Insert two AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery cover securely.

2. Attach Mouthpiece: Select one of the reusable mouthpieces and firmly attach it to the designated port on the side of the breathalyzer.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for accurate alcohol testing:

1. Power On: Press and hold the START button to turn on the breathalyzer. The device will enter preheating mode, activating its semiconductor sensor.

2. Preheating: Wait for approximately 19 seconds during the preheating countdown. The screen will display "WAIT" and a countdown.
3. Begin Test: Once preheating is complete, the device will prompt you to "BLOW". Place your mouth on the mouthpiece and blow continuously for 5-6 seconds.
4. Result Display: If sampling is successful, you will hear two short beeps, and the test results will be displayed on the digital LCD screen within 10 seconds.
5. Warning Function: If the detected alcohol concentration is above 0.25mg/L, the screen will flash red and blue lights alternately, similar to a police light, and an audible "Beep! Beep! Beep!" alarm will sound, reminding you to drive safely.

6. Review Test Records: The device can store up to 50 test records. To review them, hold the MODE key for 2 seconds to enter record memory mode. Press the MODE key repeatedly to cycle through the last 50 records. Note: Saved recordings are erased when the battery is removed.

7. Switch Measurement Units: At the test result display interface, short press the MODE key to switch between measurement units (mg/L, %BAC, ‰BAC). The next test result will be shown with the selected unit.

Tips for Accurate Results:

• For more accurate results, it is recommended to repeat the test 2-3 times.
• Please rinse your mouth 20 minutes after drinking before conducting the test.
• It takes approximately 20 minutes for alcohol to be absorbed from the digestive system into the bloodstream. Testing too soon after consumption may yield inaccurate results.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your breathalyzer.

• Mouthpiece Cleaning: The included mouthpieces are reusable. After each use, it is recommended to clean them with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storing or reusing.
• Device Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the breathalyzer with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
• Storage: Store the breathalyzer in its compact carrying case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the screen to ensure optimal performance.
