4. Setup and Installation Guide

4.1. Initial Preparation

  1. Remove Side Panels: Unscrew and remove both side panels of the chassis.
  2. Remove PSU Bracket: Locate and unscrew the PSU mounting bracket from its initial position.
  3. Remove PCIe Slot Cover: Unscrew and remove the magnetic PCI slot cover.
  4. Remove Side I/O Panel: Unscrew the side I/O panel and carefully slide it out to access internal cables.

4.2. Motherboard and Core Component Installation

  1. Install Motherboard Standoffs: Using the attached tool, install the appropriate motherboard standoffs according to your motherboard's screw hole positions.
  2. Install Motherboard: Carefully place your MATX or ITX motherboard into the chassis, aligning it with the installed standoffs.
  3. Secure Motherboard: Use the provided screws to tighten and secure the motherboard to the standoffs.
  4. Connect CPU Power Cable: Route and connect the CPU power cable to the motherboard.
  5. Connect Front I/O Cables: Connect the front audio port, front USB 2.0, front Type-C, and the power switch jumper to their respective headers on the motherboard.
  6. Secure I/O Cables: Use cable ties to neatly secure the I/O cables, preventing interference and improving airflow.

4.3. Cooling and Power Supply Installation

  1. Install Rear Panel Cooling Fan: Mount and secure a 120x15mm fan to the rear panel of the chassis.
  2. Connect Motherboard 24-pin Power: Connect the 24-pin power supply cable to the motherboard.
  3. Install Water Cooler Mounting Bracket: If using a water cooler, install its mounting bracket onto the back of the motherboard tray.
  4. Install PSU Mounting Bracket: Attach the PSU mounting bracket onto your SFX/SFX-L power supply unit.
  5. Route PSU Power Cable: Route the main power supply cable to the back of the case and plug in any necessary modular cables into the PSU.
  6. Connect PSU Extension Cable: Connect the PSU extension cable to the power supply unit.
  7. Secure PSU: Secure the PSU to the chassis using the mounting screws.
  8. Install Radiator Bracket: Install the radiator bracket onto the radiator, ensuring the raised side is towards the coolant tube end. Position the radiator as far right as possible when installing a rear panel cooling fan.
  9. Secure Radiator: Secure the radiator with mounting screws.
  10. Apply Thermal Paste: Apply thermal paste to the CPU.
  11. Mount Water Block: Mount the water block onto the CPU, aligning the water block outlet port orientation.
  12. Connect Water Pump and ARGB: Connect the water pump to the motherboard's "Pump" header and the ARGB connector.
  13. Install RAM: Install your RAM modules into the motherboard slots.

  1. Reserve GPU Power Cables: Ensure GPU power cables are routed with sufficient length for connection.
  2. Install GPU: Carefully insert the graphics card into the PCIe slot.
  3. Secure GPU: Secure the graphics card with the provided screws.
  4. Connect Graphics Card Power: Connect the power cables to the graphics card.
  5. Mount Radiator and Secure Wires: Mount the radiator and secure any loose fan wires to the coolant tubes using zip ties.

  7. Install Side I/O Panel: Reinstall the side I/O panel.
