Operating Instructions
Connecting Devices:
The TESSAN adapter provides both an AC outlet and multiple USB ports for simultaneous charging.
- AC Outlet: The universal AC outlet accepts plugs from US, EU, UK, and AU devices. This allows you to connect your laptop chargers, hair tools (if dual voltage compatible), or other AC-powered electronics.
- USB Ports: The adapter includes 5 USB ports: 3 USB-C ports and 2 USB-A ports.
- USB-C3: Provides up to 100W MAX output, ideal for fast charging laptops, tablets, and high-power smartphones.
- USB-C1/C2: Provide up to 15W output, suitable for smartphones, smartwatches, and other smaller USB-C devices.
- USB-A1/A2: Provide up to 12W output, suitable for older smartphones, headphones, power banks, and other USB-A devices.

Important Note: Not a Voltage Converter
This travel adapter only works on 100V to 240V wide voltage devices. It does NOT convert voltage.
Before using the AC outlet, always check that your electronic device (e.g., hair dryer, straightener, curling iron) is dual voltage compatible (typically indicated by "100-240V, 50/60Hz" printed on the device or its power adapter). Using a 110V/125V only device in a 220V-240V country with this adapter can damage your device and pose a safety risk.

Figure 5: Visual reminder that the adapter is not a voltage converter, showing compatible (100-240V) and incompatible (110V/125V only) devices.
Maintenance
- Keep the adapter clean and dry. Avoid exposure to liquids or excessive humidity.
- Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the adapter.
- The adapter features a double fuse for protection. If the adapter stops working, it may indicate a blown fuse. Consult the manufacturer for fuse replacement instructions or service.
Troubleshooting
- Device not charging:
- Ensure the adapter is fully inserted into the wall outlet.
- Verify that the correct plug type for the region is deployed.
- Check if your device is properly connected to the adapter's AC outlet or USB port.
- Confirm your device is dual voltage compatible if using the AC outlet in a foreign country.
- Check if the adapter's fuse has blown.
- Adapter feels warm: It is normal for the adapter to become warm during operation, especially when charging multiple devices or high-power devices. However, if it becomes excessively hot or emits smoke/odor, immediately unplug it and discontinue use.
- Pins not extending/retracting smoothly: Ensure no debris is obstructing the mechanism. Apply gentle, even pressure when sliding the levers. Do not force the pins.
