Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the scale and all components from the packaging.
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
- Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid carpets or uneven flooring, as this can affect accuracy.
- Unit Selection: On the underside of the scale, locate the unit conversion button (usually labeled "UNIT" or "lb/kg"). Press it to switch between pounds (lb) and kilograms (kg) as desired.

Operating Instructions
- Initial Calibration: For the first use or if the scale has been moved, step on the scale briefly until the display lights up, then step off. The scale will show "0.0" and then turn off. This calibrates the scale.
- Weighing: Step onto the scale with bare feet, standing still and centered. The scale will automatically turn on and display your weight. Wait for the reading to stabilize and flash before stepping off.
- Auto-Off: The scale will automatically turn off after a few seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.
