Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your EnSyuSuMa 2 TON Folding Hydraulic Engine Crane. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper function and safety. Keep this manual for future reference.
Safety Information
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.
- Always operate the engine crane on a flat, level, and stable surface.
- Ensure the load does not exceed the crane's rated capacity for the selected boom extension (0.5T, 1T, 1.5T, 2T).
- Never stand directly under a suspended load.
- Keep hands and feet clear of moving parts and pinch points.
- Ensure all bolts and fasteners are securely tightened before each use.
- Do not modify the crane in any way. Use only original replacement parts.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Inspect the crane for damage or wear before each use. Do not use if damaged.
- Lower loads slowly and with control.

Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your engine crane. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.
- Attach Caster Wheels: Securely attach the six caster wheels to the base frame using the provided bolts and nuts. Ensure they are tightened to prevent wobbling.
- Assemble Base Frame: Connect the main base sections and support legs. Ensure all connection points are aligned and secured with the appropriate hardware.
- Install Vertical Mast: Attach the vertical mast to the assembled base. This section will support the hydraulic cylinder and boom.
- Mount Hydraulic Cylinder: Position the hydraulic cylinder between the vertical mast and the boom arm. Secure both ends with pins and cotter pins.
- Attach Boom Arm: Connect the boom arm to the top of the vertical mast. Ensure the pivot points are properly aligned and secured. The boom arm has multiple holes for adjusting lifting capacity.
- Attach Lifting Chain and Hook: Securely attach the lifting chain and hook to the end of the boom arm.
- Final Inspection: Double-check all bolts, nuts, and pins to ensure they are fully tightened and secured before initial use.

Operating Instructions
Follow these guidelines for safe and effective operation of your engine crane.
- Prepare the Crane: Ensure the crane is on a stable, level surface. Lock the caster wheels if necessary to prevent movement during lifting.
- Adjust Lifting Capacity: The boom arm has four adjustable positions (0.5T, 1T, 1.5T, and 2T). Select the appropriate position based on the weight of the load. A shorter boom extension provides higher lifting capacity.
- Connect the Load: Securely attach the lifting hook to the engine or object to be lifted. Ensure the load is balanced and properly secured to prevent shifting.
- Raise the Load: Close the release valve by turning it to the right. Pump the hydraulic handle to slowly raise the boom arm and lift the load. Lift only high enough to clear obstacles.
- Move the Load: With the load slightly elevated, carefully push or pull the crane to move the load to the desired location. Move slowly and avoid sudden movements.
- Lower the Load: Once the load is in position, slowly turn the release valve to the left to gradually lower the boom arm. Ensure the load is fully supported before detaching the hook.
- Store the Crane: After use, lower the boom completely. The crane can be folded for compact storage by removing specific pins and folding the legs.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your engine crane.
- Lubrication: Periodically lubricate all pivot points and moving parts with appropriate grease or oil.
- Hydraulic Fluid: Check the hydraulic fluid level regularly. If low, refill with high-quality hydraulic jack oil. Refer to the hydraulic cylinder's specific instructions for fluid type and filling procedure.
- Cleaning: Keep the crane clean and free from dirt, grime, and corrosive materials. Wipe down after each use.
- Inspection: Before each use, inspect the crane for any signs of damage, cracks, bends, or excessive wear on components, especially the chain, hook, and welds.
- Storage: Store the crane in a dry, protected area when not in use. If folding, ensure it is done correctly to prevent damage.
Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
Crane Fails to Lift Load
- Check Release Valve: Ensure the release valve is fully closed (turned right).
- Check Hydraulic Fluid: Verify the hydraulic fluid level. Refill if low.
- Overload: Ensure the load does not exceed the crane's rated capacity for the selected boom extension.
Load Lowers Slowly or Unexpectedly
- Release Valve: Ensure the release valve is not partially open. Tighten it fully.
- Hydraulic System Leak: Inspect the hydraulic cylinder for visible leaks. If a leak is present, discontinue use and seek professional repair.
- Air in System: Air trapped in the hydraulic system can cause spongy operation. Consult a professional for bleeding the system if necessary.
Difficulty Moving Crane
- Caster Wheels: Check caster wheels for obstructions, damage, or excessive wear. Clean or replace as needed.
- Surface: Ensure the operating surface is smooth and free of debris.
