Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your engine crane. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

1. Attach Caster Wheels: Securely attach the six caster wheels to the base frame using the provided bolts and nuts. Ensure they are tightened to prevent wobbling.

Operating Instructions

Follow these guidelines for safe and effective operation of your engine crane.

1. Prepare the Crane: Ensure the crane is on a stable, level surface. Lock the caster wheels if necessary to prevent movement during lifting.
2. Adjust Lifting Capacity: The boom arm has four adjustable positions (0.5T, 1T, 1.5T, and 2T). Select the appropriate position based on the weight of the load. A shorter boom extension provides higher lifting capacity.
3. Connect the Load: Securely attach the lifting hook to the engine or object to be lifted. Ensure the load is balanced and properly secured to prevent shifting.
4. Raise the Load: Close the release valve by turning it to the right. Pump the hydraulic handle to slowly raise the boom arm and lift the load. Lift only high enough to clear obstacles.
5. Move the Load: With the load slightly elevated, carefully push or pull the crane to move the load to the desired location. Move slowly and avoid sudden movements.
6. Lower the Load: Once the load is in position, slowly turn the release valve to the left to gradually lower the boom arm. Ensure the load is fully supported before detaching the hook.
7. Store the Crane: After use, lower the boom completely. The crane can be folded for compact storage by removing specific pins and folding the legs.
