Thank you for purchasing the XIAO MI MIJIA Electric Tea Kettle N1. This multi-functional health pot is designed to provide precise temperature control for various beverages, offering convenience and safety. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

Important Safety Instructions

• Always ensure the kettle is placed on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
• Do not immerse the power base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
• Unplug the kettle from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
• Do not operate the kettle if the cord or plug is damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
• This kettle is equipped with a dry-heating chip and thermal fuse for automatic power cut-off during overheating or dry-heating.
• Use only cold water for boiling. Do not fill above the MAX line or below the MIN line.
• The kettle's operation panel is in Chinese. An English manual is provided for guidance.

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the kettle for any damage.
2. First Use Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX line, boil, and then discard the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residue.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces.
4. Assembly: Ensure the tea infuser is properly seated if you intend to use it. Place the kettle body securely onto the power base.

Operating Instructions

The kettle features an intuitive control panel with a large LED digital screen. While the panel is in Chinese, the functions are straightforward and can be operated with the help of the English manual.

Basic Operation:

1. Fill Water: Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of water. Do not exceed the MAX fill line (1.5L).
2. Place on Base: Place the kettle firmly on its 360-degree cordless power base.
3. Select Function: Use the control panel to select your desired function (e.g., boil, specific temperature preset). The LED screen will display the current temperature or remaining time.
4. Start: Press the start button to begin the heating process.

Temperature Control and Presets:

The kettle offers 11 temperature levels and 6 preset programs for various beverages, ranging from 40°C to 90°C. Refer to the English manual for specific preset functions and their corresponding temperatures.

Keep Warm Function:

The kettle can maintain a set temperature for up to 12 hours. This function is ideal for keeping your beverages warm throughout the day.

Intelligent Features:

• Intelligent Boiling Point Recognition: The kettle adapts its program based on altitude for optimal boiling.
• 3-Minute Pot Lifting Memory: If you lift the kettle from the base during operation, it will remember the setting for 3 minutes, allowing you to place it back without resetting.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your kettle.

1. Daily Cleaning: After each use, unplug the kettle and allow it to cool. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. The wide mouth design makes the interior easy to access for cleaning.
2. Tea Infuser: The 304 stainless steel tea infuser is removable and washable. Rinse it under running water after each use to prevent residue buildup.
3. Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas.
   • Fill the kettle with 1 cup of white vinegar or lemon juice and 2 cups of water.
   • Boil the mixture and let it stand for 30 minutes.
   • Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
   • A sachet of citric acid descaler is included in the package for convenient descaling. Follow the instructions on the sachet.
4. Do NOT use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals on any part of the kettle.
