- Attach the provided installation template to the wall using tape, ensuring it is level.
- Mark the drilling locations through the template.
2. Install the Wall Plate
- Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. The drill bit size will depend on your wall type and chosen anchors/screws.

Operating the Mount
The Sony SU-WL900 wall mount offers flexibility for optimal viewing.
Pivoting Function
- Gently grasp the sides of your television and pivot it to the desired viewing angle. The mount allows for rotation up to 21 degrees.
- Avoid excessive force when adjusting the TV.
Cable Management
- Utilize the integrated cable guides on the mount to route and conceal your television's cables.
- Ensure cables have enough slack to accommodate the full range of motion when pivoting the TV.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and proper function of your wall mount:
- Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight.
- Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Do not lubricate any moving parts unless specifically instructed by Sony.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your wall mount, refer to the following common solutions:
- TV is not level: Ensure the wall plate was installed level. Some mounts allow for minor post-installation leveling adjustments; consult the specific instructions for your model.
- Mount feels loose: Re-check all mounting screws on both the wall plate and the TV bracket arms. Ensure they are securely tightened. Do not overtighten.
- Difficulty pivoting: Ensure no cables are snagged or obstructing the movement. If the mount feels stiff, check for any debris.
