2. Safety Information and Usage Restrictions

2.1 Important Usage Notes

• This product is recommended for cats aged 6 months or older, or weighing 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs) or more. Kittens under 6 months or weighing less than 1.5 kg cannot use this product.
• The litter box uses weight sensing technology. For proper operation, place the unit on a firm, flat surface. Avoid placing it on tatami mats, soft flooring, litter mats, or slanted surfaces, as this may interfere with sensor accuracy.
• This litter box is designed to sift solid clumps. Always use clumping type cat litter, such as mineral-based or similar types, with high clumping power.

2.2 Wi-Fi Connectivity

• This product is designed to connect to Wi-Fi for full functionality. Ensure your Wi-Fi environment is properly set up before use. Some functions may be limited without Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi bands are supported. 5GHz networks are not compatible.
• Connection success may vary depending on your smartphone model and Wi-Fi router. You will need to enter your Wi-Fi connection information during setup. Refer to your smartphone and Wi-Fi router manuals for details.

• Automatic Waste Sealing: The system automatically seals waste into a dedicated bag, allowing for hands-free disposal and minimizing contact with soiled litter. The 10L waste box can hold waste for up to 14 days for a single cat (recommended every 2 days in summer).
• Enhanced Safety: High-precision sensors detect when a cat enters or is inside the unit, immediately pausing operation to ensure safety.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Initial Assembly

1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Place the main unit on a firm, flat, and level surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for proper operation and access.
3. Assemble the magnetic components as instructed. The magnetic design allows for easy and intuitive assembly.
4. Insert the dedicated deodorizing pack and a dedicated waste bag into their respective compartments.
5. Fill the litter compartment with an appropriate amount of clumping cat litter. Do not overfill; refer to the 'MAX' line inside the litter box.

4.2 Power Connection

Connect the power adapter to the unit and plug it into a suitable electrical outlet. The unit will perform a self-test upon power-on.

4.3 App Installation and Wi-Fi Connection

1. Download the dedicated PetSnowy app from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS and Android).
2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and add your device.
3. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The litter box only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
4. Enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password when prompted by the app to connect the litter box to your home network.
5. If you encounter connection issues, refer to the troubleshooting section or contact customer support.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Automatic Operation

Once set up, the PetSnowy PS002 operates automatically. When your cat uses the litter box, the internal sensors detect their presence. After your cat exits, the unit will wait for a pre-set delay (configurable via the app) before initiating a cleaning cycle. During the cleaning cycle, the internal mechanism sifts the litter, separating clumps and depositing them into the sealed waste compartment.

5.2 Manual Operation

You can manually initiate a cleaning cycle or other functions using the control buttons on the unit or through the smartphone app.

5.3 App Features

The PetSnowy app provides comprehensive control and monitoring capabilities:

• Remote Cleaning: Start a cleaning cycle from anywhere.
• Usage Tracking: Monitor your cat's litter box usage patterns and health data.
• Customizable Settings: Adjust cleaning delay times, deodorization schedules, and other operational parameters.
• Notifications: Receive alerts for full waste bins, operational issues, or when your cat uses the box.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Waste Bag Replacement

When the waste compartment is full (indicated by an app notification or indicator light), replace the dedicated waste bag. The automatic sealing system ensures a hygienic process. Simply remove the sealed bag and insert a new one.

6.2 Cleaning the Unit

Regular cleaning is essential for hygiene and optimal performance. The magnetic design allows for easy disassembly of most parts for cleaning.

• Disassembly: Gently separate the magnetic components.
• Washing: Almost all parts, except the base unit containing electronics, can be washed with water. Use mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly.
• Drying: Ensure all washed parts are completely dry before reassembling to prevent electrical damage or mold growth.
• Reassembly: Reassemble the unit by aligning the magnetic components.

6.3 Deodorizing Pack Replacement

Replace the dedicated deodorizing pack periodically to maintain effective odor control. Refer to the product packaging for recommended replacement intervals.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your PetSnowy PS002, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Unit Not Operating:
  • Ensure the unit is properly plugged into a power outlet.
  • Check if the unit is placed on a firm, flat surface. Soft or uneven surfaces can affect the weight sensors.
  • Verify no cat is currently inside or on the unit, as safety sensors will pause operation.
• Wi-Fi Connection Failure:
  • Confirm your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The unit does not support 5GHz networks.
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong in the area where the litter box is placed.
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router and the litter box.
  • Re-attempt the connection process through the app, ensuring correct Wi-Fi credentials are entered.
  • If issues persist, contact PetSnowy customer support.
• Ineffective Odor Control:
  • Check if the dedicated deodorizing pack needs replacement.
  • Ensure the TiO2 photocatalyst system is clean and unobstructed.
  • Verify that the waste compartment is not overfilled and the waste bag is properly sealed.
• Litter Tracking:
  • Ensure the internal litter pad is correctly installed and clean.
  • Consider using a litter mat outside the entrance for additional litter capture.
