1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Ecdtrans Adjustable Bed Remote (HJH109) and Control Box (HJC18) replacement parts. This system is designed to control adjustable beds equipped with Richmat LOGO motors, supporting functions such as head and foot lift, vibrating massage, LED lighting, and USB charging.

2. Setup and Pairing

Follow these steps to pair your new HJH109 remote control with the HJC18 receiver control box. Ensure both units are powered correctly before beginning the pairing process.

1. Step 1: Ensure the remote batteries are functioning. Replace with 2 x AAA batteries if necessary. (Batteries are not included).
2. Step 2: Ensure the power cord for the control box is securely plugged into a powered source.
3. Step 3: Simultaneously press and hold the HEAD UP and FOOT UP buttons on the remote control.
4. Step 4: While holding the remote buttons, press the small round button located on the HJC18 control box.
5. Step 5: Continue holding all buttons until you hear two distinct beeps, indicating that the connection is successful.

Note: It is recommended to purchase the remote control and receiver box together to avoid potential chip incompatibility issues that may arise from units produced at different times.

3. Operating Instructions

The HJH109 remote control provides comprehensive control over your adjustable bed's features. Familiarize yourself with the button layout and their corresponding functions.

Remote Control Functions:

• TV: Adjusts the bed to a comfortable TV viewing position.
• LOUNGE: Sets the bed to a relaxed lounge position.
• M1 / M2: Programmable memory positions. Press and hold to save a desired position.
• ANTI SNORE: Elevates the head slightly to help reduce snoring.
• ZERO GRAVITY: Positions the bed to elevate both the head and foot, promoting circulation and pressure relief.
• HEAD UP / DOWN: Controls the elevation of the head section of the bed.
• FOOT UP / DOWN: Controls the elevation of the foot section of the bed.
• FLAT: Returns the bed to a completely flat position.
• 10MIN / 20MIN / 30MIN: Timer settings for massage or other timed functions.
• MODE: Cycles through different massage modes (if applicable).
• TIMER/ALL OFF: Activates/deactivates timer functions or turns off all active functions.

Control Box Capabilities:

The HJC18 receiver control box is designed to connect and manage multiple bed functions:

• Supports connection for up to two lift motors (head and foot).
• Supports connection for up to two vibrating massage motors.
• Features an integrated USB charging port for convenience.
• Includes LED lighting control.

4. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your remote and control box.

Cleaning:

• Wipe the remote control and control box with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Ensure no moisture enters the remote or control box.

Battery Replacement (Remote Control):

• When the remote's performance degrades or it stops responding, replace the batteries.
• Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote.
• Remove the old batteries and insert two new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
• Close the battery compartment cover securely.
