1. Introduction

Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure proper operation and to maximize the lifespan of your kettle.

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all instructions before using the kettle.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or electric kettle in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner.

4. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the maximum level, boil the water, and then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure the kettle is not near the edge of a counter or table to prevent accidental tipping.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable wall outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of your kettle (220 Volts).

5. Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Kettle: Press the lid release button on the handle to open the lid. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the minimum mark or above the maximum mark (1.7 Liters). Close the lid securely.
2. Placing on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto its power base.
3. Boiling Water (100°C): Press the 'Boil Water' button. The LCD display will show the current temperature and then count up as it heats. The kettle will automatically shut off once 100°C is reached.
4. Temperature Control (40-90°C): Press the 'Keep Warm' button. The LCD display will show the current temperature. Use the temperature selection buttons (usually '+' and '-') to choose your desired temperature between 40°C and 90°C, in 5°C increments. The kettle will heat the water to this temperature and then maintain it for up to 12 hours.
5. Serving: Carefully lift the kettle from its base and pour the hot water. The handle is designed to remain cool to the touch.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your kettle.

• Before Cleaning: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
• Interior Cleaning (Descaling): Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. To descale:
1. Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
2. Boil the mixture and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup.
3. Pour out the mixture and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
4. For stubborn deposits, a commercial descaling agent designed for kettles can be used following the product's instructions.
• Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the kettle body or power base in water or any other liquid.
