Important Safety Information
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

- The kettle is designed for boiling water only. Do not use for other liquids.
- Ensure the lid is securely closed before operation.
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

Setup and First Use
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the kettle and its accessories.
- Clean: Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the maximum fill line, boil, and then discard the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- App Download (Optional): For smart control features, download the GoveeLife app from your smartphone's app store.

- Fill Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (1.7 L) or go below the minimum fill line.
- Place on Base: Place the kettle securely on the power base.
- Select Mode: Press the "MODE" button to cycle through preset temperatures for different beverages:
- Black Tea: 212°F (100°C)
- Green Tea: 180°F (82°C)
- Oolong Tea: 195°F (91°C)
- Coffee: 205°F (96°C)
- Adjust Temperature (Optional): Use the "+" and "-" buttons to fine-tune the temperature if needed. The LCD screen will display the target temperature.
- Start Boiling: Press the "ON/OFF" button to begin heating. The kettle will automatically shut off once the target temperature is reached.

Using the Tea Infuser
- Insert the removable stainless steel tea infuser into the kettle.
- Add loose leaf tea or tea bags into the infuser.
- Fill the kettle with water, ensuring the water level covers the tea in the infuser.
- Select your desired temperature and start the heating process.
- Once brewing is complete, carefully remove the infuser using its handle.
Smart Control via GoveeLife App

- Pairing: Follow the in-app instructions to pair your kettle with the GoveeLife app.

- Scheduling: Set a scheduled time for the kettle to boil water. The kettle can be programmed to start heating at a specific time, up to 24 hours in advance.
- Keep Warm Function: Adjust the insulation time for the "Keep Warm" function via the app, up to 2 hours. The default insulation time is 30 minutes.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and longevity of your kettle.
- Unplug: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the kettle and power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Interior: For descaling, fill the kettle with a mixture of water and white vinegar (1:1 ratio) or a descaling solution. Boil the mixture, then let it sit for 15-30 minutes before discarding. Rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
- Tea Infuser: The tea infuser can be removed and washed by hand with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Storage: Ensure the kettle is clean and dry before storing. Wrap the power cord around the reel storage on the base.
