4. Safety Information

General Safety Warnings:
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and gloves, when operating the pump.
- Do not operate the pump in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating the pump. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
- Store idle pumps out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the pump or these instructions to operate the pump.
- Maintain the pump. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other condition that may affect the pump’s operation. If damaged, have the pump repaired before use.
- Use the pump and accessories in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed.
Electrical Safety:
- Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the pump.
- Disconnect the battery pack from the pump before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the pump.
- Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
- Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
- When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another.
- Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.
5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Battery
Before first use, ensure the batteries are fully charged. Connect the charger to a power outlet and insert the battery pack into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.
5.2 Installing the Battery
Locate the battery compartment on the pump. Align the battery pack with the slot and slide it in until it clicks securely into place. Ensure the battery is firmly seated to prevent dislodgement during operation.
5.3 Connecting Hoses
The pump features 3/4 inch NH inlet and outlet ports. Connect a standard garden hose to the inlet port for water intake and another hose to the outlet port for water discharge. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks. For optimal self-priming performance, the inlet hose length should not exceed 10 feet.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Starting the Pump
Once the battery is installed and hoses are connected, ensure the inlet hose is submerged in the water source. Press the power button to turn on the pump. The pump is self-priming and will begin to draw water automatically.
6.2 Adjusting Flow Rate
The pump offers three adjustable flow settings: 300 GPH, 400 GPH, and 500 GPH. Use the flow rate selector switch (typically labeled I, II, III) to choose the desired flow for your application.

6.3 Using the LED Light

6.4 Stopping the Pump
To stop the pump, press the power button again. Always disconnect the battery pack when the pump is not in use or before performing any maintenance.
