2. Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electric tools to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
- Work Area Safety: Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Electrical Safety: Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions.
- Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection. Use hearing protection when operating for extended periods. Dress properly; avoid loose clothing or jewelry. Secure long hair.
- Tool Use and Care: Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
- Battery Pack Use and Care: Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. Do not use battery packs with any other power tools. When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects.

- Connect the charger to a suitable power outlet.
- Slide the battery pack onto the charger base, ensuring it clicks into place.
- The charging indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. Refer to the charger's specific instructions for light indications (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger from the power outlet and remove the battery pack.
5.2 Installing and Removing the Battery Pack

To Install: Align the battery pack with the base of the drill driver and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
To Remove: Press the battery release button (located on the battery pack) and slide the battery pack out from the tool.
5.3 Installing and Removing Drill Bits/Accessories
- Ensure the drill driver is switched off and the forward/reverse selector is in the center (locked) position to prevent accidental starting.
- Grip the rear half of the keyless chuck and rotate the front half counter-clockwise until the chuck jaws are open wide enough to accept the bit.
- Insert the drill bit or accessory fully into the chuck.
- Rotate the front half of the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws firmly around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and secure.
- To remove, reverse the process.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On/Off and Speed Control
The tool is activated by pressing the trigger switch. The speed is variable depending on how far the trigger is pressed. Releasing the trigger switch turns the tool off. The quick stop function ensures the chuck stops rotating almost immediately upon releasing the trigger.
6.2 Forward/Reverse Rotation
The forward/reverse selector switch controls the direction of rotation. Push it to the left for forward (drilling/driving) rotation and to the right for reverse (removing screws) rotation. When the switch is in the center position, the trigger is locked, preventing accidental operation.
6.3 Speed Settings (Gearbox)
The drill driver features a 2-speed gearbox:
- Gear 1 (Low Speed, High Torque): Select this for heavy-duty drilling, driving large screws, or applications requiring more power. (0-400 RPM)
- Gear 2 (High Speed, Low Torque): Select this for fast drilling in softer materials or for smaller screws. (0-1500 RPM)
To change gears, slide the speed selector switch located on top of the drill. Always ensure the tool has come to a complete stop before changing gears.
6.4 Torque Adjustment
The torque adjustment collar allows you to select the desired torque setting (1-25) or the drilling mode. This prevents over-driving screws and damaging the workpiece.
- Settings 1-25: Use lower settings for smaller screws and softer materials, and higher settings for larger screws and harder materials. The clutch will disengage when the set torque is reached.
- Drilling Mode (Drill Symbol): Select this mode for drilling applications. The clutch will not engage, providing maximum torque.
6.5 LED Work Light
The integrated LED work light automatically illuminates when the trigger is pressed, providing better visibility in dimly lit work areas.
6.6 Belt Clip
The included belt clip can be attached to either side of the drill driver for convenient temporary storage while working.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your tool.
- Cleaning: Keep the ventilation slots of the tool clean to prevent overheating. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the housing. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Chuck Maintenance: Periodically clean the chuck jaws to ensure proper gripping of bits.
- Battery Care: Store battery packs in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store fully discharged batteries for extended periods. Recharge them periodically if not in use.
- Storage: Store the drill driver, battery, and charger in the provided carrying case in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your drill driver, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Drill does not start. | Battery not charged or not properly installed. Forward/reverse selector in center (locked) position. | Charge the battery. Ensure battery is securely installed. Move forward/reverse selector to forward or reverse position. |
| Reduced power or short operating time. | Battery charge is low. Battery is old or damaged. | Recharge the battery. If the problem persists, the battery may need replacement. |
| Bit slips in chuck. | Chuck not tightened sufficiently. Bit shank is dirty or damaged. | Retighten the chuck firmly. Clean or replace the bit. |
| Overheating during use. | Overloading the tool. Ventilation slots blocked. | Reduce load on the tool. Clear any obstructions from ventilation slots. Allow tool to cool down. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact customer support.
