  • Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks. Do not overtighten.

4. Installation Instructions

Follow these steps for proper installation of your RUITHOE vessel sink faucet. A video guide is also provided for visual assistance.

Video 4.1: How to Install a Waterfall Faucet. This video demonstrates the step-by-step installation process for the RUITHOE waterfall vessel sink faucet.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Prepare the Faucet Body:

    Insert the hot and cold supply lines through the bottom of the faucet body. Ensure the rubber gasket is correctly positioned at the base of the faucet.

  2. Secure the Mounting Nut:

    Slide the brass mounting nut onto the threaded shaft of the faucet, over the supply lines, and hand-tighten it against the faucet body. This secures the supply lines within the faucet.

  3. Position the Faucet:

    Place the faucet through the single hole on your countertop or vessel sink. Ensure the faucet is centered and facing the desired direction.

  4. Install Mounting Hardware:

    From underneath the countertop, slide the rubber gasket and then the brass washer onto the threaded shaft. Hand-tighten the large brass nut to secure the faucet. Use a wrench to gently tighten for a firm hold, but do not overtighten.

  5. Connect Water Supply Lines:

    Connect the hot and cold supply lines to the corresponding hot (red) and cold (blue) water shut-off valves. Use a wrench to tighten the connections. Ensure the hot water line is connected to the hot valve and the cold water line to the cold valve.

  6. Install Pop-Up Drain:

    Follow the separate instructions provided with the pop-up drain for its installation into the sink basin. Ensure a watertight seal.

  7. Test for Leaks:

    Once all connections are made, slowly turn on the main water supply. Check all connections for any signs of leaks. If leaks are detected, tighten the connections as necessary.

5. Operation

Your RUITHOE vessel sink faucet features a single lever handle for easy control of water flow and temperature.

  • Water Flow: Lift the handle upwards to increase water flow. Push it downwards to decrease or turn off the water.
  • Temperature Control: Move the handle to the left for hot water and to the right for cold water. The handle can be positioned anywhere between hot and cold to achieve the desired water temperature.

6. Maintenance and Care

To maintain the appearance and functionality of your Oil Rubbed Bronze faucet, follow these care guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Clean the faucet regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or polishes that can damage the finish. Mild soap and water are recommended.
  • Finish Protection: The faucet features a plating layer designed to prevent fingerprints and resist tarnishing. Gently wipe the surface to remove any smudges.
  • Avoid Scratches: Do not use scouring pads, steel wool, or other abrasive materials on the faucet surface.
  • Water Spots: To prevent water spots, wipe the faucet dry after each use, especially in areas with hard water.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your faucet, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
