4. Compatibility
This GTRUI Android Car Stereo is specifically designed for the following vehicle models and years:
- Dodge RAM 1500: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018
- Dodge RAM 2500: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018
- Dodge RAM 3500: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018
Important Note: This unit is compatible only with vehicles equipped with Manual AC (Manual Climate Control). It is not compatible with automatic climate control systems.

5. Setup and Installation
Installation of the GTRUI Android Car Stereo is designed to be straightforward, often referred to as "Plug and Play," as it utilizes existing wiring harnesses and retains most original vehicle functions. However, professional installation is recommended to ensure correct wiring and optimal performance.
General Installation Steps (Consult a professional if unsure):
- Preparation: Disconnect the vehicle's battery before starting any electrical work.
- Remove Original Unit: Carefully remove the factory radio and dashboard bezel.
- Connect Wiring Harness: Connect the provided wiring harness and CANbus decoder to the vehicle's existing connectors. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Antenna Connections: Connect the radio antenna adaptor and GPS antenna. Position the GPS antenna in a location with a clear view of the sky.
- External Components: Connect the backup camera, external microphone, and USB cables as needed.
- Mount New Unit: Secure the GTRUI head unit into the dashboard opening.
- Test Functionality: Reconnect the battery and test all functions (power, audio, touch screen, steering wheel controls, camera, GPS, Bluetooth, CarPlay/Android Auto) before fully reassembling the dashboard.
- Reassemble: Once all functions are verified, reassemble the dashboard bezel and trim.
Note: The unit is designed to retain original functions such as steering wheel control buttons, factory existing backup camera, and USB ports. No modification to the vehicle's wiring harness is typically required.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. QLED Touch Screen and Android OS
The 9-inch QLED touch screen offers a responsive and clear interface. Navigate through applications and settings by tapping, swiping, and pinching gestures, similar to a smartphone. The Android 13 operating system provides access to a wide range of applications from the Google Play Store.

6.2. Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto
Connect your iPhone or Android smartphone wirelessly or via USB to access CarPlay or Android Auto. This allows you to use your phone's navigation, make calls, send messages, and play music safely through the car stereo's interface. Activate voice commands by saying "Hey Siri" or "OK Google."
