- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.

Setup
Before first use, follow these steps:
- Unpack: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging.
- Clean: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a damp cloth. Wash the interior of the kettle and the lid with warm, soapy water, then rinse thoroughly. Do not immerse the power base or the exterior of the kettle in water.
- Rinse Cycle: Fill the kettle with water to the MAX fill line. Bring the water to a boil and then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable surface away from the edge of the counter.
Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to operate your electric kettle:
- Fill the Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark (1.7L). Ensure the lid is securely closed after filling.
- Place on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto its power base.
- Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
- Select Temperature (if applicable): Use the temperature control buttons on the handle to select your desired water temperature. The kettle features precise temperature control for various beverages.
- Start Boiling: Press the power button or the designated start button. The LED indicator will illuminate, often changing color to indicate the heating process.
- Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically shut off once the water reaches the selected temperature or comes to a rolling boil. A beep may sound to indicate completion.
- Pour Water: Carefully lift the kettle from the base and pour the hot water. The non-drip spout ensures a clean pour.

Maintenance
Regular cleaning and descaling will prolong the life of your kettle.
Cleaning:
- Unplug: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Interior: The wide opening lid facilitates easy access for cleaning the interior. Use a non-abrasive brush or sponge with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
Descaling:
Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Descale regularly to maintain performance.
- Vinegar Method: Fill the kettle with 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water. Bring to a boil and let it stand for 10-15 minutes. Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly several times with fresh water.
- Citric Acid Method: Dissolve 1 tablespoon of citric acid in 1.7L of water. Pour the solution into the kettle, bring to a boil, and let it stand for 10-15 minutes. Discard and rinse thoroughly.
- Baking Soda Method: Add 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda to your kettle, then fill with water. Bring to a boil. Let kettle cool, remove from heat, and let it sit for 10 minutes. Scrub gently with a non-abrasive brush.
