4. Product Overview

5. Setup
5.1. Inserting the SIM Card
The camera comes with a pre-installed Nano SIM card. If you need to replace it or insert your own SIM card:
- Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the camera.
- Gently open the protective cover.
- Insert the Nano SIM card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner aligned. Ensure it clicks into place.
- Close the protective cover firmly to maintain IP65 rating.

5.2. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the camera battery.
- Connect the provided charging cable to the camera's charging port (USB-C).
- Plug the other end of the cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
- The indicator light will show red during charging and turn solid green when fully charged.
5.3. App Installation and Pairing
The Xega XG-10 camera uses the Ubox app for remote control and monitoring.
- Scan the QR code in the manual or search for "Ubox" in your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS) to download and install the app.
- Open the Ubox app and create an account or log in.
- Click on "Add a Device" or the '+' icon.
- Select "Setup 4G Device".

- Drill holes and insert the wall plugs if necessary.
- Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the screws.
- Slide the camera onto the bracket and secure it.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power ON/OFF
To power on the camera, slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. To power off, slide it to 'OFF'.
6.2. Live View and PTZ Control
Once connected, open the Ubox app and select your camera to view the live feed. You can manually rotate the camera lens by swiping up, down, left, and right on the app interface to achieve a 355° horizontal and 100° vertical view.

6.3. Night Vision
The camera supports 2K color night vision up to 20 meters. This feature automatically activates in low-light conditions, providing clear and vivid images.
