Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
  3. Placement: Place the scale on a flat, stable, and level surface to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it near strong electromagnetic fields or vibrating equipment.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press the Power (⑂) button. The LCD display will light up and show "0.0g" when ready for use.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power (⑂) button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Unit Conversion

  • While the scale is on, press the Mode (M) button to cycle through the available units: g, oz, ml, lb, lb:oz, gn, ozt, dwt, ct. Select the desired unit before weighing.

Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or to weigh multiple ingredients consecutively.

  1. Place an empty container (e.g., a bowl or one of the included trays) on the weighing platform.
  2. Press the Tare (T) button. The display will reset to "0.0g".
  3. Add the item you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show the net weight of the item.
  4. Repeat step 2 and 3 to weigh additional ingredients in the same container.

Counting Function (PCS)

  • This scale includes a PCS (pieces) counting function. To use, place a sample quantity (e.g., 25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces) of the items you wish to count on the scale.
  • Press and hold the PCS button until the display shows a number (e.g., "25").
  • Press the Mode (M) button to select the sample quantity that matches the number of items you placed on the scale.
  • Press the PCS button again to confirm. The display will now show "PCS" and the number of items.
  • You can now add more items, and the scale will count them based on the sample weight.

Calibration

The scale is factory calibrated, but re-calibration may be necessary over time for optimal accuracy. Calibration is possible with 1000g and 2000g weights (not included).

  1. Ensure the scale is on a stable, level surface and turned off.
  2. Press and hold the Mode (M) button, then press the Power (⑂) button simultaneously. Release both buttons when the display shows "CAL".
  3. The display will then show the required calibration weight (e.g., "1000g").
  4. Place the exact specified calibration weight (e.g., 1000g) onto the center of the weighing platform.
  5. Wait for the display to stabilize and show "PASS" or the next calibration weight (e.g., "2000g").
  6. If prompted for a second weight, place the 2000g calibration weight on the platform.
  7. Once calibration is complete, the scale will return to normal weighing mode. Remove the calibration weights.

Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Wipe the scale surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water. The stainless steel surface is designed for easy cleaning.
  • Storage: Store the scale in a cool, dry place. Its compact design allows for easy storage in drawers or on shelves.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always use new AAA batteries.
  • Handle with Care: Avoid dropping the scale or subjecting it to strong impacts, as this can affect its accuracy.
