Installation Guide
Safety First: Before beginning any installation, ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected to prevent electrical shock or damage to the system. Wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves and eye protection.
- Locate the Old Solenoid: Identify the existing starter solenoid on your lawn mower or tractor. It is typically mounted near the battery or starter motor.
- Disconnect Wiring: Carefully disconnect all wires from the old solenoid. Note the position of each wire for correct re-connection. It is recommended to take a photo before disconnecting.
- Remove Old Solenoid: Unbolt or unmount the old solenoid from its bracket.
- Mount New Solenoid: Position the new HUAREW solenoid (model HWX-725-06153A) using its threaded (female) bracket. Secure it firmly.
- Connect Wiring: Reconnect the wires to the new solenoid's terminals. Ensure the two 1/4" threaded top terminals are used for the main power connections and the two spade terminals for the control connections. Verify all connections are tight and secure.
- Reconnect Battery: Once all connections are secure, reconnect the vehicle's battery.
- Test Functionality: Attempt to start the engine to confirm proper installation and operation of the new solenoid.

Operating Principles
The starter solenoid acts as an electromagnetic switch. When the ignition key is turned to the "start" position, a small electrical current flows from the ignition switch to the solenoid's control terminals (spade terminals). This current energizes an electromagnet inside the solenoid, which then pulls a plunger, closing a high-current circuit between the battery and the starter motor (via the 1/4" threaded terminals).
This allows a large amount of current to flow to the starter motor, engaging the engine. Once the engine starts and the ignition key is released, the current to the solenoid's control terminals is cut, de-energizing the electromagnet and opening the high-current circuit, thus disengaging the starter motor.
