  2. Handlebar Installation: Attach the handlebar to the stem. Ensure it is centered and tightened securely.
  3. Pedal Attachment: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread them into the crank arms. Note that the left pedal has a reverse thread. Tighten firmly.
  4. Seat Post Adjustment: Insert the seat post into the frame and adjust the saddle height to a comfortable riding position. Ensure the quick-release lever is securely closed.

Operating Your Electric Bike

Powering On/Off and Display

To power on your bike, press and hold the power button on the LCD display. The display will illuminate, showing speed, battery level, assist mode, and distance. Pedal Assist System (PAS)

The bike features a 250W brushless motor that provides pedal assistance up to 25 km/h. Use the controls on the handlebar to select your desired assist level. Higher levels provide more motor assistance, making pedaling easier, especially on inclines. The bike also supports a pure power mode, allowing for throttle-only operation (check local regulations for legality).

Gear Shifting

Your Qekud bike is equipped with a professional Shimano 7-speed gear system. Use the shifter on the handlebar to change gears according to terrain and desired speed. Shift to a lower gear for climbing hills and a higher gear for flat terrain or downhill riding.

Braking System

The bike features reliable disc brakes for effective stopping power. Apply both front and rear brakes simultaneously for balanced and controlled deceleration. Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially with the front brake, to prevent skidding.

Adjusting Handlebar and Seat

Both the handlebar and seat are adjustable to accommodate riders between 1.55m and 1.95m in height. Adjust the seat height so that your leg is slightly bent at the knee when the pedal is at its lowest point. The handlebar can be adjusted for reach and angle to ensure a comfortable and ergonomic riding posture.

The Qekud electric bike is powered by a removable 36V 12.5Ah Li-Ion battery, offering an autonomy of up to 100km (62 miles) in hybrid mode on a full charge.

  • Tires: Check tire pressure before each ride. Recommended pressure is usually indicated on the tire sidewall.
  • Brakes: Periodically check brake pads for wear and ensure brake levers have proper tension. Adjust as needed.
  • Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent wear.
  • Fasteners: Regularly inspect all bolts and nuts, especially on critical components like wheels, handlebars, and seat post, to ensure they are securely tightened.
  • Battery Contacts: Keep battery contacts clean and dry.
