1. Introduction and Overview
The Beyprern Battery Desulfator is an automatic pulse repair device designed to recondition and extend the lifespan of lead-acid batteries. It operates by delivering high-frequency peak pulses to dissolve sulfate crystals that accumulate on battery plates, which can reduce battery capacity and performance. This device is compatible with 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V lead-acid batteries, including AGM, GEL, EFB, MF, Flooded, VRLA, and SLA types.
Regular use of this desulfator can help restore lost battery performance, leading to stronger engine starts and prolonged battery life for various applications such as cars, trucks, motorcycles, SUVs, golf carts, farm vehicles, and motorboats.
2. Safety Information
Working with batteries can be hazardous. Please read and understand all safety precautions before using this device.
- Eye Protection: Always wear appropriate eye protection when working with batteries.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation in the work area to prevent the accumulation of explosive gases.
- Avoid Sparks: Do not smoke or allow sparks or flames near the battery or desulfator.
- Polarity: Always connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the battery. Incorrect polarity can damage the device and the battery.
- Battery Condition: This desulfator is intended for sulfated batteries, not completely dead or physically damaged batteries. It cannot repair batteries with damaged plates, dried-up electrolyte, or severe electrolyte deficiency. The battery must be capable of accepting a charge for the desulfator to function effectively.
- Children and Pets: Keep the device and batteries out of reach of children and pets.
3. Product Features
- Battery Life Restoration: Utilizes advanced slow pulse reconditioner technology to detect and address battery sulfation and acid stratification, restoring lost performance and extending battery life.
- Advanced Pulse Technology: Delivers high-frequency peak pulses to dissolve sulfates without causing damage to battery plates.
- Wide Compatibility: Suitable for various lead-acid battery types, including AGM, GEL, EFB, MF, Flooded, VRLA, and SLA, across 12V to 48V systems.
- Automatic Operation: Intelligent design automatically detects battery conditions and applies the appropriate repair process.
- Self-Powered: Operates without an external power supply, drawing power directly from the battery.
4. Package Contents
- 1 x Beyprern Battery Desulfator Unit (Model: 12V-48v Orange 200AH) with integrated battery clamps.
5. Setup and Installation
- Pre-Operation Voltage Check: Before connecting the desulfator, measure the battery voltage. Ensure the battery voltage is above the minimum threshold for its voltage class. For example, a 12V battery should be above 11.5V, a 24V battery above 22V, a 36V battery above 33V, and a 48V battery above 44V. If the battery voltage is below the corresponding value, charge the battery first using a standard charger.
- Connect to Battery: Connect the red positive (+) clamp of the desulfator to the positive (+) terminal of the battery. Connect the black negative (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the battery.

6. Operating Instructions
Once properly connected, the desulfator will automatically begin its operation. The red light on the unit will flash, and a subtle sound may be heard, indicating that the desulfation process has started. The unit's display will show the current battery voltage.
- Initial Desulfation Process: For batteries that have been in use for more than six months or are showing signs of sulfation, the desulfating process can take an extended period. It is recommended to leave the desulfator connected to the battery for 1 to 3 weeks, with noticeable effects typically appearing after more than 15 days of continuous operation.
- Automatic Adjustment: The device automatically adjusts its pulse repair frequency for optimal battery circuit board protection.

7. Maintenance
To maintain battery health and prevent future sulfation, regular desulfation is recommended.
- Regular Use: For ongoing battery maintenance, connect the desulfator to your battery for 6-7 hours periodically. This helps prevent the buildup of sulfate crystals and extends the battery's overall lifespan.
- Storage: When not in use, disconnect the desulfator from the battery and store it in a cool, dry place.

8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Desulfator does not show 'Pulsing' or operate. | Incorrect connection, battery voltage too low, or battery is completely dead. | Ensure clamps are connected correctly (red to +, black to -). Check battery voltage; if below minimum threshold, charge the battery first. The device cannot operate on a completely dead battery. |
| Battery performance does not improve after extended use. | Battery is severely damaged, has dried electrolyte, or damaged plates. | The desulfator cannot repair all battery issues. If the battery has physical damage or is beyond repair due to severe degradation, replacement may be necessary. |
| Unit makes a subtle sound during operation. | Normal operation. | This is a normal indication that the desulfator is actively working. No action required. |
Important Note: This battery desulfator is designed for sulfated batteries. It will not solve all battery problems and is ineffective for batteries that are completely dead, have damaged plates, dried-up electrolyte, or a severe lack of electrolyte. The battery must be able to accept a charge for the desulfator to function.
