4. Setup

4.1 Powering Your Radio

The JEUJUG radio offers three ways to power on:

1. Built-in Rechargeable Battery: The radio comes with a built-in 1800mAh rechargeable battery. Ensure it is charged for portable use.
2. D-Cell Batteries: For extended backup power, you can install 4 D-cell batteries (not included) in the battery compartment located on the back of the unit.
3. AC Power Cord: Use the included power cord to plug the radio into a wall outlet for continuous operation and to charge the built-in battery.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Radio Operation (AM/FM)

To listen to radio stations:

1. Push the function switch (located on the side) to the "AM" or "FM" position.
2. To manually search for stations, slowly turn the "TUNING" knob.
3. For auto search, quickly turn the "TUNING" knob. The radio will scan and stop when it finds a station.

5.2 Bluetooth Connectivity

To connect your device via Bluetooth:

1. Push the function switch to the "BT" (Bluetooth) position. The radio will enter pairing mode.
2. On your smartphone or smart device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select the device named "JEU-BT1622" (or similar, starting with "JEU") from the list to pair.
4. Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the radio's speaker.

5.3 Time and Alarm Setting

To set the time and alarm on your radio:

1. Ensure the function switch is in the "OFF" position.
2. Setting Time: Long press the "TIME/SET" button to set the hour. Use "HOUR" or "MIN" buttons to adjust, then press "TIME/SET" to confirm. Repeat for minutes. Press "HOUR" or "MIN" to choose 12/24-hour format, then "TIME/SET" to finish.
3. Setting Alarm: In the off state, long press "ALL/SET" to set the alarm. Use "HOUR" or "MIN" buttons to adjust the hour, then press "ALL/SET" to confirm. Repeat for minutes. Press "ALL/SET" to finish setting.
4. Turning Alarm On/Off: Short press "ALL/SET". If the display shows the alarm symbol, the alarm is on. If not, it's off.

6. Maintenance

• Keep the radio dry. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity.
• Clean the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Do not disassemble the unit. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
• Store the radio in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
