1. Product Overview

The GAMFAMI Wireless Controller Model T48 is designed for an enhanced gaming experience on PlayStation 4, PS4 Pro, and PS4 Slim consoles. It features Hall effect joysticks for precision and longevity, programmable M1/M2 buttons, a Turbo function, dual shock vibration, and a built-in 1000mAh rechargeable battery.

2. Setup

2.1 Charging the Controller

Before initial use, fully charge the controller. Use a standard USB-C cable (not included) to connect the controller to your PS4 console or a compatible USB power adapter.

• The LED light bar on the controller will slowly flash orange while charging.
• The LED light bar will turn off once fully charged.
• A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.

2.2 Pairing with PlayStation 4 Console

1. Ensure your PS4 console is powered on.
2. Connect the controller to the PS4 console using a USB-C cable.
3. Press the PS button on the controller. The controller will automatically pair with the console.
4. Once paired, you can disconnect the USB-C cable for wireless gameplay.
5. To connect an already paired controller wirelessly, simply press the PS button.

2.3 Connecting to PC

The controller can be connected to a PC via Bluetooth. Ensure your PC has Bluetooth capabilities.

1. On your PC, go to Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
2. On the controller, press and hold the SHARE button and the PS button simultaneously until the light bar starts flashing rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
3. On your PC, select the controller from the list of available Bluetooth devices and complete the pairing process.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Controls

The controller features standard PlayStation button layouts, including:

• Directional Buttons (D-pad): Up, Down, Left, Right
• Action Buttons: Triangle, Circle, Cross (X), Square
• Shoulder Buttons: L1, R1
• Trigger Buttons: L2, R2
• Analog Sticks: Left Stick (L3 button when pressed), Right Stick (R3 button when pressed)
• PS Button: Powers on/off the controller, accesses PS menu.
• SHARE Button: Shares gameplay content.
• OPTIONS Button: Accesses in-game menus.
• Touchpad: Multi-touch input area.

3.2 Macro Programming (M1/M2 Buttons)

The controller includes two programmable back buttons, M1 and M2, for custom key mapping. These buttons can be assigned to replicate other controller inputs.

To program M1 or M2:

1. Press and hold the SET button (usually a small button near the M1/M2 buttons) until the indicator light flashes.
2. Press the M1 or M2 button you wish to program. The indicator light will flash slower.
3. Press the button you want to map (e.g., X, O, L1, R3, etc.).
4. Press the SET button again to save the mapping. The indicator light will turn off.

Mappable buttons include: X, Circle, Square, Triangle, D-pad Up, D-pad Down, D-pad Left, D-pad Right, L3, R3, L1, R1, L2, R2.

3.3 Turbo Function

The Turbo function allows for rapid, repeated input of a button press, which can be advantageous in certain games.

To activate Turbo:

1. Press and hold the TURBO button.
2. While holding TURBO, press the action button you wish to apply Turbo to (e.g., X, Circle, Square, Triangle, L1, R1, L2, R2).
3. Release both buttons. The selected action button will now have Turbo activated.

To deactivate Turbo:

1. Press and hold the TURBO button.
2. While holding TURBO, press the action button that currently has Turbo activated.
3. Release both buttons. Turbo will be deactivated for that specific button.

3.4 Hall Effect Joysticks

The controller is equipped with Hall effect joysticks, which utilize magnetic fields instead of physical contacts. This design significantly reduces the risk of stick drift and enhances the lifespan and precision of the joysticks.

3.5 Built-in Speakers and 3.5mm Audio Jack

The controller includes built-in speakers for enhanced audio feedback during gameplay. Additionally, a 3.5mm audio jack is provided for connecting headphones or a headset, allowing for private audio and voice chat.

4. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the controller. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the controller frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in constant use.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Controller Not Connecting/Pairing

• Ensure the controller is charged.
• Try connecting the controller to the PS4 with a USB-C cable and pressing the PS button to re-establish the connection.
• Restart your PS4 console.
• Reset the controller: Locate the small reset button on the back of the controller (often inside a small hole). Use a thin object (like a straightened paperclip) to press and hold the button for 3-5 seconds. Then, attempt to pair again.

5.2 Input Lag or Unresponsive Buttons

• Ensure there are no obstructions or excessive distance between the controller and the console.
• Check for other wireless devices that might cause interference.
• If playing on PC, ensure Bluetooth drivers are up to date.
• Try connecting the controller via USB-C cable to see if the issue persists.

While Hall effect joysticks are designed to prevent drift, if you experience minor drift:
