1. Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before using your refrigerator to ensure safe operation and prevent injury or damage.

Electrical Safety: Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded. Do not use extension cords or ungrounded adapters. Disconnect power before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
Ventilation: Allow adequate space around the refrigerator for proper ventilation. Obstruction of vents can lead to overheating and reduced efficiency.
Flammable Materials: Do not store explosive substances or flammable materials inside the refrigerator.
Handling: When moving the refrigerator, handle with care to avoid damage to the cooling system. Do not tilt the unit more than 45 degrees.
Child Safety: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the refrigerator for any shipping damage. Keep packaging materials for future transport if needed.

3.2 Placement

Place the refrigerator on a firm, level surface away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space around the back and sides for proper air circulation.

3.3 Leveling the Refrigerator

The refrigerator has adjustable front feet. Turn the feet clockwise to raise the unit and counter-clockwise to lower it. Ensure the refrigerator is level to prevent vibrations and ensure proper door sealing.

3.4 Reversible Door Installation

The door of your FOHERE compact refrigerator can be reversed to open from either the left or the right side, offering flexibility in placement. This process involves removing the top hinge, transferring the door, and reattaching the hinge on the opposite side.

3.5 Initial Power-On

After installation, wait at least 2-4 hours before plugging the refrigerator into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Once plugged in, let it run for a few hours empty to reach its operating temperature before loading with food.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Temperature Control

Your FOHERE refrigerator features a 7-level temperature control dial located at the back of the unit. Turn the dial to select your desired cooling level. Higher numbers indicate colder temperatures.

4.2 Internal Organization

The refrigerator is designed with a versatile interior to accommodate various items:

Removable Shelf: The wire shelf can be adjusted to different heights or removed entirely to create space for taller items.
High Bottle Storage Area: Located on the door, ideal for taller bottles.
Can Storage Area: Also on the door, designed to hold standard beverage cans.
Freezer Area: A small top freezer compartment (0.16 Cu.ft) is included for frozen items.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1 General Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain the efficiency and appearance of your refrigerator. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

Interior: Clean the interior with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Wipe dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
Door Gasket: Clean the door gasket regularly to ensure a tight seal.

5.2 Defrosting

This refrigerator features a Frost Free defrost system for the main compartment. The small freezer section may accumulate some frost over time. If frost builds up to about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick, manually defrost the freezer section. To do this, unplug the unit, remove all contents, and allow the frost to melt naturally. Use the drip tray to collect water.

6. Troubleshooting

Before contacting customer service, please check the following common issues:
