Setup

Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on one of the earcups.
  2. Gently slide or unclip the cover to open the compartment.
  3. Insert three (3) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover, ensuring it clicks securely into place.

Adjusting the Headband

The headband is adjustable to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. Gently slide the earcups up or down along the headband until they comfortably cover your ears and the headband rests on your head without excessive pressure.

Controls Overview

Power On/Off and Volume Control

  • To power on the headphones, rotate the Radio ON/OFF & Volume Knob clockwise. The digital display will illuminate.
  • Continue rotating the knob clockwise to increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume.
  • To power off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until it clicks and the display turns off.

AM/FM Radio Tuning

  • Press the Mode Switch Button (AM/FM) to switch between AM and FM radio bands. The selected band will be shown on the LCD display.
  • Manual Tuning: Use the Increase Band Button and Decrease Band Button to manually tune to desired frequencies.
  • Auto-Scanning: Press and hold the Multi-function & Memory Button to initiate an auto-scan. The radio will automatically search for and save available stations.
  • Saving Stations: After auto-scanning or manual tuning, you can save up to 20 AM and 20 FM stations. Consult the full manual for specific steps on saving and recalling preset stations.

AUX Input

To connect an external audio device (e.g., mobile phone, MP3 player, laptop):

  1. Connect one end of the provided 3.5mm AUX cable to the 3.5mm Audio Jack (AUX Jack) on the headphones.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone jack of your external audio device.
  3. The headphones will automatically switch to AUX input mode. Adjust volume using the headphones' volume knob and/or your external device.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Wipe the exterior of the headphones with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

  • The earpads can be gently cleaned with a mild soap solution if necessary, then air-dried completely before use.

Storage

  • When not in use, store the headphones in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

No Power

  • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
  • Replace with fresh AAA batteries.
  • Ensure the power/volume knob is rotated clockwise to the 'ON' position.

Poor Radio Reception

  • Extend the antenna fully for optimal reception.
  • Try repositioning yourself or the headphones to improve signal strength.
  • Perform an auto-scan to find stronger local stations.
  • Interference from other electronic devices can affect reception. Move away from such sources.

No Sound from AUX Input

  • Ensure the 3.5mm AUX cable is securely connected to both the headphones and the external device.
  • Check the volume levels on both the headphones and the external audio device.
  • Test the AUX cable with another device to ensure it is not faulty.
