3. Product Features

3.1 Dual Installation Methods

The key lock box offers two convenient installation options: it can be hung on a door handle, railing, or pipe using its removable shackle, or securely mounted to a wall or solid surface using the included hardware.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Setting Your Combination Code

The factory default code is 0-0-0-0. Follow these steps to set your personalized combination:

1. Open the lock box by entering the default code 0-0-0-0 and pressing the button down.
2. Locate the reset lever inside the lock box. Push the lever from position "A" to position "B".
3. Rotate the combination dials to your desired 4-digit code. Choose a memorable code.
4. Return the reset lever from position "B" back to its original position "A".
5. Important: Take a photo or write down your new code immediately to prevent forgetting it. Once the code is reset, there is no master key or recovery method.

4.2 Mounting the Key Lock Box

Door Handle Hanging Installation

1. Ensure the lock box is open and the shackle is extended.
2. Hook the shackle over the desired door handle, railing, or pipe.
3. Close the shackle securely into the lock box.

Wall Mounted Installation

1. Choose a suitable, solid surface for mounting.
2. Mark the positions for the four mounting holes using the lock box as a template.
3. Drill pilot holes at the marked positions.
4. Insert the soft rubber screws (wall plugs) into the drilled holes.
5. Align the lock box with the holes and secure it using the provided screws.

5. Operation

5.1 Opening the Lock Box

1. Rotate the combination dials to your set 4-digit code.
2. Press the release button located below the dials.
3. The front cover of the lock box will open, providing access to the contents.

5.2 Closing and Securing the Lock Box

1. Place your keys or other items inside the lock box.
2. Close the front cover firmly until it clicks into place.
3. Scramble the combination dials to lock the box and conceal your code.

6. Maintenance

• Regularly check the combination dials for smooth operation.
• Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure the dust cover over the dials is properly seated to maintain weatherproof integrity.

7. Troubleshooting

• Cannot open the lock box: Ensure the correct 4-digit combination is entered and the release button is fully pressed. Verify the reset lever is in position "A".
• Dials are stiff: Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the dials if they become difficult to turn.
• Forgot the combination: Unfortunately, there is no override or master key. If the combination is forgotten, the lock box cannot be opened without knowing the code. It is crucial to record your code after setting it.
