4. Setup and Assembly
4.1 Battery Installation and Charging
To install the battery, align the battery pack with the receptacle on the tool handle and slide it in until it clicks into place. To remove, press the release buttons on the sides of the battery and slide it out.

To charge the battery, connect the charger to a power outlet. Insert the battery pack into the charger, ensuring it is seated correctly. The charger's indicator light will show the charging status. A solid red light typically indicates charging, and a green light indicates a full charge.
4.2 Loading Brad Nails
Ensure the battery is removed and the safety lock is engaged before loading nails. Pull back the magazine follower and insert a strip of 18-gauge brad nails into the magazine, with the points facing forward. Release the follower to secure the nails.

4.3 Adjusting Depth of Drive
The depth of drive can be adjusted without tools. Locate the depth adjustment dial or lever near the nose of the tool. Rotate or slide it to increase or decrease the nail's penetration depth. Test on a scrap piece of material to achieve the desired depth.

4.4 Safety Lock
The tool is equipped with a safety lock to prevent accidental firing. Engage the lock when the tool is not in immediate use or when transporting it. Disengage the lock before operation.
5. Operation
After setting up the nailer, ensure you are wearing appropriate safety gear. Place the nose of the tool firmly against the workpiece where you intend to drive a nail. The contact trip mechanism must be fully depressed. Then, pull the trigger to fire a nail. The integrated LED light will illuminate the work area, enhancing visibility.
