2. Package Contents

3. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging materials for potential future transport or returns.
  2. Inner Bucket Placement: Place the black removable inner bucket inside the stainless steel outer bin. Ensure it sits securely at the bottom.
  3. Garbage Bag Installation:
    • Open one of the provided 13-gallon garbage bags.
    • Line the inner bucket with the garbage bag, ensuring the top edge of the bag is folded over the rim of the inner bucket.
    • Locate the small hole on the side of the inner bucket. This hole is designed to fix the excess part of the garbage bag, preventing it from slipping down. Secure the bag through this hole if desired.

4. Operating Instructions

  1. Opening the Lid:
    • Using the Pedal: Gently press down on the foot pedal located at the base of the trash can. The lid will open smoothly.
    • Manual Open/Stay Open: The lid can be manually lifted to a 90-degree angle, allowing it to stay open hands-free for extended tasks like kitchen chores.

  2. Closing the Lid:
    • Automatic Soft Close: Release pressure from the foot pedal, or gently push the lid down from its 90-degree open position. The built-in bi-force damper will ensure the lid closes slowly and silently, preventing sudden slams.
    • Manual Close: If the lid is in the 90-degree open position, gently press it down. The damper will still ensure a smooth, silent closure.
