5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your SINEHO 11-in-1 USB C Hub, please refer to the following common solutions:
- No Display Output / Flickering Screen:
- Ensure your host device's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode.
- Check all cable connections (USB-C to hub, HDMI/VGA to monitor) are secure.
- Try a different HDMI/VGA cable.
- Reduce the resolution of the external monitor(s) in your device's display settings.
- If using both HDMI and VGA, remember the maximum resolution is 1080P.
- Disconnect and reconnect the hub.
- USB Devices Not Recognized / Slow Transfer Speeds:
- Ensure the hub is connected to a power source via the PD port, especially when connecting power-hungry devices.
- Connect USB 3.0 devices to the blue USB 3.0 port for optimal speed.
- Avoid connecting too many high-power-consumption devices simultaneously without external power.
- Try connecting the USB device directly to your computer to rule out device issues.
- Disconnect and reconnect the hub.
- Ethernet Connection Issues:
- Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the hub and your router/modem.
- Check your network settings on your computer.
- Try a different Ethernet cable.
- Ensure your router/modem is functioning correctly.
- Charging Issues (PD Port):
- Ensure your USB-C power adapter is connected to the hub's PD port and is functioning correctly.
- Verify your laptop's USB-C port supports Power Delivery.
- The hub consumes some power; ensure your power adapter provides sufficient wattage for both the hub and your laptop.
- SD/TF Card Not Detected:
- Ensure the card is fully inserted into the correct slot.
- Try a different SD/TF card to check if the card itself is faulty.
- Check your computer's file explorer or disk management to see if the card is recognized but not assigned a drive letter.
6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SINEHO 11-in-1 USB C Hub, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the hub. Avoid using liquid cleaners, aerosols, or harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store the hub in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Handling: Avoid dropping the hub or subjecting it to strong impacts. Do not bend or pull the integrated USB-C cable excessively.
- Ventilation: Ensure the hub has adequate ventilation during operation to prevent overheating, especially when multiple ports are in use.
- Power: Always use a compatible power adapter with the correct voltage and wattage if external power is required.
