1. Introduction

The Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 are advanced RGBIC LED lighting solutions designed for year-round outdoor decoration and security. Featuring 36 LED lights, IP67 waterproofing, and 100 preset scene modes, these 50ft lights offer vibrant, customizable illumination. Control is seamless via the Govee Home App, Alexa, or Google Assistant, providing AI-generated lighting effects and 40lm white light for enhanced aesthetics and functionality.

2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before installation and use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or other hazards.

• Ensure the power supply is disconnected before installation or maintenance.
• Use only the provided power adapter and control box.
• Do not cut or modify the light segments. This will void the warranty and may cause damage.
• Ensure all connections are secure and waterproof where applicable.
• Keep the control box and adapter in an IP65-rated environment, protected from direct water exposure if not rated for full submersion.
• Operate within the specified temperature range of -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C).
• Avoid installing near heat sources or in excessively humid environments.
• Do not connect Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 (Models: H705D/H705E/H705F) with older Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights (Models: H705A/H705B/H705C) or Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Elite.

4. Setup & Installation

The Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 are designed for easy and permanent installation. Follow these steps for optimal setup:

1. Plan Your Layout: Determine the desired path for your lights along eaves, walls, or other outdoor structures. Ensure the total length does not exceed the maximum supported by the system (50ft for this model, extendable with additional cables).
2. Clean the Surface: Thoroughly clean the installation surface to ensure proper adhesion of the VHB glue and clips. The surface should be dry and free of dust, dirt, or grease.
3. Attach Clips: Use the provided VHB glue and clips to secure the light segments. The VHB glue offers quick installation, while the clips provide additional stability. Ensure clips are evenly spaced for a neat appearance.
4. Secure with Screws (Optional but Recommended): For enhanced durability and long-term stability, use the provided screws to further secure the clips, especially in areas exposed to strong winds or extreme weather.
5. Connect Components: Connect the light strings to the control box, and then connect the control box to the adapter. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
6. Power On: Plug the adapter into a suitable outdoor power outlet. The lights should illuminate, indicating a successful connection.

Note: Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 cannot be cut. Attempting to cut the lights will damage the product and void the warranty.

Control your Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 using the Govee Home App or voice commands via Alexa and Google Assistant.

5.1. Govee Home App Control

5.2. Voice Control Integration

Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 seamlessly integrate with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for convenient voice control. Follow the instructions in the Govee Home App to link your lights to your preferred smart home assistant.

• Alexa: Say, "Alexa, turn on the outdoor lights," or "Alexa, set the outdoor lights to blue."
• Google Assistant: Say, "Hey Google, turn off the patio lights," or "Hey Google, change the outdoor lights to Christmas mode."

6. Maintenance

Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 are built with durable, UV-resistant materials and are IP67 waterproof (lights) and IP65-rated (Control Box & Adapter) for year-round reliability. Minimal maintenance is required.

• Cleaning: Periodically wipe down the light segments and control box with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt or debris. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Inspection: Regularly inspect the cables and connections for any signs of wear, damage, or loose fittings. Ensure the control box and adapter remain protected from excessive moisture.

7. Troubleshooting
