4. Setup and Connectivity

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the scanner using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the scanner and a power source (e.g., computer USB port or USB wall adapter). A full charge typically takes 5-6 hours.

4.2 Connectivity Options

The scanner supports three connection methods:

  • 2.4G Wireless: Insert the 2.4G wireless dongle into your computer's USB port. The scanner will automatically pair. This mode offers a transmission distance of up to 100m/330ft in open air and 20m/66ft indoors.
  • Bluetooth 5.0: Enable Bluetooth on your host device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, PC).
