Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the safety and functionality of your retractable gate. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Prepare the Mounting Surface: Choose a flat, stable surface for installation. Ensure there are no obstructions.
2. Mark Drill Holes: Hold the mounting brackets in the desired position and use a pencil to mark the drill holes. Ensure the gate mechanism is positioned correctly for your opening.
3. Drill Pilot Holes: Using an appropriate drill bit for your wall type (wood or hard wall), drill pilot holes at the marked locations.
4. Install Brackets: Securely attach the mounting brackets to the wall using the provided screws.
5. Attach Gate Mechanism: Slide the main gate mechanism onto the installed brackets. Ensure it clicks firmly into place.
6. Adjust Baseboard Fit: If necessary, adjust the bottom hardware of the gate mechanism up or down to fit flush with your baseboard.
7. Install Catch Brackets: On the opposite side of the opening, install the catch brackets at the appropriate height, ensuring the mesh can extend fully and latch securely.

Operating Instructions

The Bingguz retractable gate is designed for easy, one-handed operation.

1. To Open the Gate: Push down and twist the top button on the main mechanism. While holding the button, pull the mesh handle towards the catch brackets.
2. To Close and Lock the Gate: Extend the mesh handle across the opening until it hooks into the catch brackets. Release the top button on the main mechanism to lock the mesh in place. Ensure both the top and bottom latches are securely engaged.
3. To Retract the Gate: Push down and twist the top button on the main mechanism. While holding the button, unhook the mesh handle from the catch brackets and guide the mesh back into the main mechanism. The mesh will retract smoothly.

Maintenance
